You can ride straight from the house to the North Cumberland WMA Sundquist Unit (2 minutes) and to Tackett (little over 10 minutes). You'll enjoy the little restaurant across the street for breakfast & lunch. Additionally, there is ample parking on the property. This is 1 of 4 homes so we can accommodate all group sizes. The Funky Farmhouse originally built in the 1960s by my Great Grandfather has gotten a complete renovation including city water and a brand new kitchen with lots of appliances. Located minutes from Marinas and trailheads = more time for fun!

Historic year-round cabin along lakeshore w/dock

The lake home was built in the early 1930's to house the engineers constructing the entire TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) system that created dams and hydro-electric power throughout the region. It also provided jobs that helped with employment during the Great Depression. A wonderful addition we made recently was a dock, which remains in the water from sometime in March until late October. Please note this is an old, quaint home. It has its quirks.
