We have restored an ancient bread oven on our little farm to make a cosy retreat in a quiet corner of the Dordogne. The kitchen and bathroom combine modern fittings with ancient beams and stonework while the comfortable sitting room features a log burning stove and the original paddle for the old bread oven, found when we started the renovation work. It is an ideal base for an active holiday (many options nearby)but the nightlife consists of sharing the stars with the owls and a bottle of wine.

Set in 5 acres of meadows & walnut orchards our house has been lovingly restored to offer a peaceful and relaxing stay amongst nature in the countryside. With exclusive use of a private patio with large spa hot tub, shaded dining area, bbq, sunbeds and comfy seating perfect for aperitifs.

Nous vous accueillons, été comme hiver, dans notre gîte (ancienne grange rénovée) tout confort, à la décoration soignée, au pied des chemins de randonnées et à 20 min de la station du Lioran pour des vacances chaleureuses. Le gîte, avec une surface de 65 m², peut accueillir 4 à 5 personnes. C'est un espace ouvert comportant : une chambre spacieuse avec un lit 160, 1 salle d'eau, une mezzanine avec 2 lits 90, un coin cuisine (tout équipé), un coin salle à manger/salon avec son poêle à bois.

In the heart of stunning medieval village, Quiet location but short walk to the butcher, restaurant and tabac/bar. 5 mins drive to Montignac and the Lascaux caves and beautiful villages of thé Dordogne valley.
