My place is located on a small scale produce farm on the north end of Camano Island. Private suite in farmhouse with private entrance, private bathroom, deck and small kitchenette. Relax on the deck or explore the multiple parks on the island that offer walks in the forest or along the beach. About one mile away you will find delicious pastries, coffee, pizza and shops selling locally made goods. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
“This was a wonderful, peaceful place to stay. We did not meet Rachel, but she made sure we had everything we needed during our 3-night stay. She provided oatmeal and bananas, plus butter in the mini-fridge for our use. We prefer a softer bed than most, so we found the mattress to be quite firm, but it was good quality with extra pillows, plus there was a spare fuzzy blanket in the closet. We had a great time exploring the island, and discovered that the Rachel's location was ideally placed for stopping by in the afternoon for a quick nap, snack, or restroom break on our way to the next adventure.”
Enjoy western views of the Olympic Mountains in a 1940s cabin 1 1/2 hours away from Seattle. Get here over a bridge from Stanwood (no ferry). The cabin is situated on a hill overlooking Saratoga Passage and Whidbey Island for great sunsets and peace and quiet. There is access to the Puget Sound beach below (about a 5 minute walk) where you can walk the beach. Access is dependent on tides. Crabbing is possible during season. (Directions available at the cabin)
“This is an out of the way place in many ways, but close enough to I-5 to make it a quick commute from our urban home in Bellevue. The bungalow is wonderful, with lots of lamps for reading and writing. Windows everywhere let in lots of light too. A lovely view of Saratoga Passage and the Olympic Mountains. The little cottage is set high on a bluff, off a quiet road. (There is a mini housing development across the road.) Lots and lots of privacy, with peek a boo views of houses off in the distance on either side of the property. All the kitchen goodies you'd need, even a blender. Amazing bath towels, fluffy fluffy fluffy. All the plumbing fantastic and the Wifi super duper, with options of an excellent collection dvd movies, a wide variety-"flavors" to choose from. Bottom line I'd come back, to unwind, be cozy and watch the clouds and waters. This could be my new home away from home. Much thanks to Karen and Jack for a fantastic island home for us city people.”

“A very beautiful home, kid friendly and THE BEST VIEW!!! Had everything we needed! So peaceful and relaxing. Great layout for kids. They had their own area downstairs with toys and tv. We made s’mores everyday down at the fire pit, and my kids loved beach combing. We watched lots of the provided DVDs. Watching the amazing sunsets from the hot tub nightly was a highlight of the weekend. Nick was very accommodating and responds quickly. Will definitely be returning!”
