Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Calvert County

Wish we could have stayed longer! We didn’t need to bring anything. All linens, paper products, towels, and kitchenware were provided. Right down to mosquito spray. picnic blankets, and s’mores. Charles was helpful, flexible, kind, and available. He was willing to give my kids and I an up close lesson on beekeeping. He has 5 well maintained hives on his property and was eager for us to come along checking in on them. It was very impressive! The property was beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. There are a few paths to venture out on. One lead to the private beach, another out to a close view of the bay. The deck was the show stopper. The view of the water was amazing. While sitting on the deck, there were hummingbirds, butterflies, and deer passing through. And we could see all of this from the comfort of the hot tub . The game room was a nice bonus. There was something for everyone: darts, poker, drawing, puzzles, movies, board games. I appreciate you sharing your cottage with us!

It was a great stay and a perfect location for our quick family back east. It was very comfortable, clean and a the right size for our family of 4. It was nice to have our own place to stay and not to far from our family. We didn’t spend much time in the town but it looked cute with shops, cafes and restaurants. We had great communication with Maria, she was very quick to respond. Thanks for a great and comfortable stay!!

Diana’s place was perfect for our family. The house had many of the items we would have had to bring from home. You can tell she wanted people to feel at home and be comfortable. My grandbabies loved the books. The neighbors were friendly. The neighborhood was nice to get a quick walk in before the day started.

Lori was super accommodating with our last minute booking and really friendly as we messaged back and forth. It made a bad situation at my house (dead electrical panel) an accidental 5 day vacation at Lori’s, so I really appreciated her for it! All the basics were provided in the kitchen and baths, and chargers in every room. There were even two desks, which was perfect since two of us telework. My dog is cranky and set in his ways, so he didn’t like the doggy door but I can see how it would be super convenient for a normal dog ;) And I had forgotten how much I like North Beach! Lori’s place is an easy 15 minute walk to the beach and boardwalk. Having the beach pass and beach towels provided was great, but I ended up on a shady bench along the boardwalk.

Our stay was great. The house is located in a quiet friendly neighborhood. The views are amazing. The house is very comfortable and so relaxing. Loved that three bedrooms each had a bathroom. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive.

This is the second time we have stayed here for work, the house has new updates and I’ll be looking forward to staying here again!

Awesome location! Very peaceful and tucked away but still a quick drive to beaches and parks for fossil excursions. We really enjoyed the deck and porches and our son caught quite a few crabs from the dock!

The house was beautiful and clean. The lication was great! Too bad it rain during out stay so we couldn’t enjoy the pool and the backyard. Thank you!

What a find! We were attending a wedding on the Potomac and found this gem of a place basically right next door. A perfectly appointed home in a peaceful, tranquil, beautiful setting. Connie was great! Responsive to our need to find the iron, not exactly an emergency, Connie responded immediately with it's location. Loved it!

A great stay on the river. The kitchen was well equipped and the rest of the house was comfortable. The screened in porch and access to the dock/beach/river was our favorite part. Our dogs were in HEAVEN. The location is rather remote, so recommend bringing any food you'll want as there are no close stores or restaurants.

Clare and Chris could not be nicer and easier to work with. My family/friends have been getting together since 1994 and have been to many great Airbnb's and VRBO's. My group could not stop telling me how great of a week we had. The primary features that were import to us which the house scored big are as follows: It has a dock (we arrived via boat), The kitchen is big, laid out for many "Cooks", The kitchen was open to the dining room table, The dining room table is open to the sitting areas, The pool was clean and inviting, The fire pit with seasoned firewood was a big hit for our group, All the beds were comfortable, The bedrooms were large and comfortable, The baths were clean, modern & large and The location to "What to do in Cambridge" is only 7-10 miles away. We made prearrangements: Richardson Maritime Museum to have a guided tour with David Williams on Friday and Spocott Windmill with George Radcliff. Both of these tours were fascinating. Our weekend was 5-Stars.

We found Paul’s home very comfortable and accommodating. Paul was accessible when we reached out to him and he communicated well with us. It was a very nice location with a fantastic view of the bay, as we hoped for.

This was one of the most well equipped houses I have ever stayed in. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to each contact. I highly recommend this place!!

We had such a peaceful and memorable stay at Andy’s place. From the moment we arrived, Andy was incredibly welcoming, we could genuinely feel the warmth and care. He even brought us breakfast and made sure we had everything we needed. Even though the weather was a bit gloomy at first, we had a great time relaxing indoors with the ping pong table and enjoying the beautiful waterfront view right from our bed. The sunset was absolutely breathtaking. One of our favorite moments was walking to the dock and spotting a bald eagle through the binoculars provided, such a special experience! The pool area looked so serene; although it was too cold for us to go in this time, we’re already hoping to come back in warmer weather to enjoy it fully. This trip was the perfect way to unwind after my wife’s graduation, and it made us so happy to see that even our dog felt right at home. Thank you, Andy, for creating such a thoughtful and relaxing retreat. We hope to return soon

Keith was so super sweet! Always texted back if I had a question. He was welcoming since our first contact. The house was amazing. It felt like home and we treated like home. Definitely will be back again. Absolutely stunning!!

We had a great time at this beach house. We were really trying to find a place near the beach, that allowed dogs and had a fenced in yard. This property fulfilled all of those requests, which was so nice. The owner, Siobhan was wonderful to work with. Very easy to work with and super communicative. We had a great time!! Very thankful for Danielle’s hospitality and flexibility! We were a last minute booking and had to extend more than once while waiting on movers for our home, and Danielle was ultra helpful in the process. The house was clean, cute, and in a great location for beach visitors. We will absolutely be checking to make sure either the Lazy Crab or Blue Crab are available when we plan to visit the area again! After a cross country trip that consisted of several underwhelming hotels and stays along the way, Danielle’s property was a much needed refresher for my family!

Exactly as listed. Extremely comfortable beds and pillows (we all wanted to buy them!). Nice amenities like sounds machines/white noise in every bedroom, plenty of hooks for hanging, and touch lamps on nightstands. Lots of seating for lounging in the living room and kitchen. Appreciated the powerful AC on one of the first hot and humid days this year. Easy walk into town. Great communication. A great stay.

What an incredible stay! This home is absolutely beautiful and exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Every room was thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and spotless — it truly had everything we could have hoped for. We especially loved kayaking and unwinding in the hot tub — such perfect touches that made our trip even more memorable. The host was wonderfully responsive and helpful with any questions we had. I can’t recommend this home and host highly enough. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We had the most wonderful Memorial Day weekend at Alicia’s beautiful home! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by her incredible hospitality and all the thoughtful touches throughout the house. The views from the house are simply breathtaking—watching the sunrise with our morning coffee and relaxing in the evenings as the sun set was unforgettable. The weather was so nice during our stay that we could leave the windows open at night and fall asleep to the soothing sound of the waves. The proximity to the beach made it easy for us to head out for a hike along the shore, which quickly became one of our favorite activities. We also took a fun day trip to Solomon’s Island, which was a great recommendation. The friendly neighbors made us feel right at home, and having a grocery store close by was super convenient for picking up anything we needed. Inside, the house was spotless and extremely well-stocked. Alicia provided shampoo and conditioner, which was a thoughtful touch.

This was one of the loveliest Air BnBs I’ve had the pleasure of staying at. The photos don’t do it justice. A warm, welcoming and cozy home, filled with sunlight and stunning water views from every window. You literally feel like you’re on a boat! Comfortable furnishings and beds, a super well-stocked kitchen with lovely dishes and decor, bikes, kayaks, gas grill… everything you could want. The Tilghman Island General Store was just a short walk through a lovely neighborhood with the friendliest people. Breakfast at Two if by Sea was amazing! And crab cakes at Gina’s on the Bridge were delish. My dog loved the stay too! Tilghman Island is a peaceful treasure in today’s crazy world.

We stayed at Chris’s place for a wedding weekend! It was super close to the Inn and walking distance to the market and harbor. His house was excellent! We also loved how quiet the street was. I would definitely stay here again!
