Haven of peace - the garden studio

The studio is located in Quartier Saint Catherine, the historic centre of the old fishing port of Honfleur. Just a short stroll away from the Vieux Bassin and its many bars and restaurants, it is also well placed for shopping and for visiting the town's museums and galleries. On arrival you pass through the entrance hall of my house to discover the studio tucked away at the end of a courtyard garden. The only sounds you will hear are the singing of the birds at dawn and their early evening chatter. A modern spacious room with high ceilings, it has a private shower room and a small kitchen area equipped with a microwave oven, fridge & ceramic hob for preparing light meals. There is a comfortable king size bed and a sitting area with armchairs, tv and dvd player. A single bed can be added for a third adult or child (at additional cost) and a baby cot is available. Its doors open onto a small private terrace, ideal for taking breakfast or relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. The studio is self catering. All bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided as are tea and coffee, shower gel and shampoo. HONFLEUR AND THE REGION Honfleur has a superb market every Saturday selling seasonal fruIt and vegetables, local cheeses, oysters, country ham and free range poultry. The local beach is a 10 minute walk away and the well known resorts of Trouville and Deauville are 20 minutes by car. The D Day landing beaches, the Mont Saint Michel and Monet's house at Giverny are all within a couple of hour's drive of Honfleur. A few kilometers inland is the lovely, gentle rolling countryside of the 'Pays d'Auge' famous for its cider and Calvados production and for local cheeses such as Livarot, Pont l'Evèque and Camembert.

The accommodation includes on the ground floor: a living room with desk, a small equipped kitchen with dining table and a private outdoor terrace adjoining the building on its south side. One floor accessible by an internal staircase with bedroom and bathroom with toilet.

Quietly located on a private property, this guest house is located 10 minutes from Caen city center, 20 minutes from Bayeux city center, 25 minutes from the landing beaches and 10 minutes from the Caen Memorial. You will have immediate access to the city bus (50 m). You will enjoy staying in our nice 30 m² accommodation with its independent bedroom. Its big plus: Carpiquet Airport is a 2-minute drive or bus ride away. No noise.

Beautiful outbuilding in a pretty Normandy property with a one hectare park, located 2 km from the sea near Cabourg. The perfect place to recharge and rest. On the first floor, a master suite comprising a bedroom with a queen size bed, a living room with a high-end sofa bed, a bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet. On the ground floor a 50m2 room with an equipped kitchen, a dining room and a living room.

The Little House of Ouistreham

In 2018, we bought this large, damaged house with the plan to renovate it completely and live by the sea. We started by renovating the cottage, to live there with our 6-month-old boy, before tackling the renovation of the big house. And so the cottage naturally became La Petite Maison. We will be happy to host you, quietly, in this pretty F1 entirely on one level and overlooking the garden.

The annex of the old presbytery

You will stay in the annexe of an old Priest's house, by the side of the church in a village between Bayeux and the Normandy War beaches, renovated by the owners, who are a French-English couple.
