Isabel‘s Villa ist ein magischer Ort! Absolut idyllisch gelegen auf einem Privatgelände, wo man sich sehr sicher fühlt. Der Ozean direkt vor der Tür und die Altstadt von Funchal ist nur 10 Minuten entfernt. Für Ausflüge und Wanderungen ist der Ausgangspunkt ideal. Am Abend kann man gemütlich in der Altstadt in einem der Restaurants essen gehen. Die Villa ist sehr liebevoll und komfortabel eingerichtet. Man fühl sich sofort wohl und betritt man dann die Terrasse dann kommt man aus dem Staunen nicht mehr raus! Patricia ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns im Vorhinein alle wichtige Informationen zur Villa und zur Umgebung zukommen lassen. Bei Fragen oder kleineren Problemen hat sie sich sofort gekümmert und eine Lösung gefunden. Wir können Patricia als Gastgeberin sowie die Villa in unvergleichbarer Lage von Herzen empfehlen! Ein Ort der die Seele berührt, danke dass wir zu Gast sein durften.

Nous venons tout juste de rentrer d’une semaine de vacances dans le logement de Luis. Maison impeccable, rien à dire sur la propreté ! Tout correspondait à la description de l’annonce ! Seules petites améliorations : le manque de rangement pour poser les affaires dans les chambres et la salle de bain, et un étendoir un peu petit au vu de la capacité de la maison ! Autrement, notre séjour était parfait, la maison et sa vue étaient top ! Nous vous recommandons grandement ce logement !

We had a fantastic time on the island. In addition to the nature that makes Madeira so fascinating, we were also able to spend some very relaxing days in our accommodation. Everything was just like in the pictures, so we could start our vacation with a great feeling. The accommodation was modern, clean and very luxurious with a pool and the number of rooms, each with its own bathroom. And who wouldn't want to wake up with a view of the sea? Wonderful. Henrique was also easy to contact if we had any questions and check-in with the key box was very simple. There is a small supermarket in this small town if you need anything. Otherwise, Calheta is not far away with larger shopping facilities. There are a few restaurants within walking distance of the accommodation, although the accommodation with its large kitchen and outdoor grill is of course also perfect for a meal. Thank you for a wonderful time in Madeira, we'd love to come back!

Eine sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft. Viele Restaurants und Supermärkte in der Nähe. In der Umgebung gibt es viele Dinge zu entdecken, ob Strand oder Museen. Nach Funchal sind es ca. 40 Minuten, alles recht gut zu erreichen.

Het uitzicht vanuit de tuin was werkelijk prachtig. Het huisje is zo dicht bij de zee dat je in je slaapkamer de branding kon horen. Verder was het ontzettend stil. Een heerlijk zwembad en tuin met verschillende zitjes en ook ligbedden zodat je altijd kon kiezen waar je wilde zitten. Er was zelfs een BBQ!

The accommodation is amazing, a very modern and homely feel with all the amenities that you'd need for a stay in Madeira! Rui went consistently above and beyond to communicate with us his recommendations of things to do, places to go/eat, and to update us on aspects of the accommodation (such as the newly installed BBQ). We'd love to come back soon!

Well what can I say about abor villa- By far the best air bnb we have ever stayed in. Absolutely exceptional and decorated beautifully, so artistic and clean and akin to a boutique hotel. Emma was a fantastic host, she made the whole stay exceptional for our young family. Personal touches such as a mini chair for our two year old with suitable cutlery, cups etc ready for us, even taking the trouble to remove the legs of the children’s bed so not too high from the ground. She provided a box of toys for our children and ensured staples were ready for us after a late flight so that the children had food and milk- something we whole heartedly appreciated. The position of the villa was ideal- close to the capital, excellent views , close to restaurants and local towns and ideally situated so easy to get to the northern sites of the island which really wasn’t far when renting a car. Emma was easily reachable and offered lots of recommendations. The pool and views exceptional, we will return!

J’ai passé une semaine de vacances absolument parfaite dans cette magnifique maison située à Madère. Le logement est spacieux, très confortable, impeccablement propre, et idéalement situé pour découvrir l’île. Tout est pensé pour qu’on s’y sente bien, et ça a vraiment été le cas. Franchement, je ne vois rien à redire tout était au top du début à la fin. Je recommande ce logement à 100 % et je n’hésiterai pas une seconde à y revenir lors d’un prochain séjour à Madère. The property easily lives up to the description and the pictures. The houses are fully equipped, very nicely decorated and comfortable. The swimming pools offer stunning unobstructed views of the ocean during the day and of the sky at night. There are no road noises, the place is truly calm. Grocery stores are a few minutes away by car, as are restaurants. Numerous hikes can be found in the region. The host is very reactive and will provide many recommandations related to restaurants and activities. Renting both houses to two families is a great way to spend time together while also having some privacy. I would go back there without any hesitation.

Karine and her family have been super sweet and helpful. We were a family of 6 spanning several generations, and the house is perfect for this. Highly recommended. Everything was new and worked flawlessly. Best recommendations from Kenneth.

Sehr empfehlenswert, da traumhafte Aussicht aufs Meer und Funchal. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Äusserst grosszügige Unterkunft mit viel Platz und Stauraum. Eigene Auffahrt mit gedecktem Parkplatz. Für uns zu zweit kostenmässog am oberen Limit, wir bereuen aber keine Sekunde, die letzten Tage/Nächte unserer Madeira Reise dort verbracht zu haben. João hat auf unsere Anreisezeit sehr flexibel reagiert, Danke dafür!

Nos hôtes, Jeanne et Cristiano, nous ont réservé un accueil chaleureux, avec des produits locaux à notre arrivée ! La maison est très bien située sur les hauteurs de Funchal, avec une vue incroyable sur l'océan (y compris depuis la douche italienne !). La piscine était très agréable (étant frileux, nous avons choisi de la chauffer), la cuisine parfaitement équipée, les chambres très spacieuses et confortables .... Nous avons aussi aimé la déco, les livres (notamment la collection de guides sur Madère en français !)... Tout était parfait, nous avons adoré notre séjour !

Beautiful house overlooking Funchal & ocean. House was well equipped with everything you may need during your stay (pool towels, baby high chair, gym equipment, fresh linens & very well stocked kitchen appliances). Short drive to shops & restaurants. The house is on a steep hill, you will likely need a car to get around town. Host was responsive and communicative. Would stay again.

Amazing space to rejuvenate and reconnect with the very special people in my life, enjoyed every inch of Grey Rock from the bespoke kitchen which had EVERYTHING you needed to cook superb dinners to the heated infinity pool over looking the ocean to the squishy cushions for the sunbeds…..we loved it!

Tökéletes hetet toltottunk Didier csodalatos házában es nagyon jól éreztük magunkat! Nagyon jól átgondolt, jól felszerelt, tiszta ház volt, minden igényt kielegitoen a konyhától, furdoszoban at a 29 fokra felfutott medenceig! Meg gym matrac, kettlebell, meg petanque is volt! 😉 Nagyon könnyű volt bejutni, idokorlatozas nélkül, nagyon részletes, érthető leírással, könnyű, ingyenes parkolással, akar 2 kocsi részére is. Nagy terekkel, nagyobb családoknak is tökéletes választás! Didier mindig gyorsan válaszolt, segitokesz, barátságos volt!

This is how AirBNB should be. The house is stacked with everything. How often are you in an Airbnb and they only have 6 plates? Here they have 20+, they have Great knives, tons of kitchenware, enough toilet paper, plenty of dishwasher tabs and also cleaner for the washing machine. Things you normally expect but somehow got lost in the making money machine Airbnb is now. Not here!! A absolute crazy welcome basket (have not had such a big one ever), friendly crew and absolute amazing place - can only recommend

De hosts van deze fantastische plek hebben ons heel fijn ontvangen. Na een rondleiding door het mooie huis en de tuin, lieten ze de accommodatie aan ons om van te genieten. Ze hebben aan alles gedacht en er is zoveel in het huis aanwezig om een onbezorgde vakantie te hebben. Er stonden lokale lekkernijen klaar voor het hele gezin. We konden niets verzinnen wat beter kan en hebben genoten van ons verblijf. De omgeving is erg goed te verkennen vanuit deze plek en in de middag/avond is het dan fijn thuis komen in dit huis. Bedankt jullie beide!

Fantastic villa. We stayed there as a family of four and loved the accommodation. The villa was spacious, clean and well equipped. The view was incredible looking out to sea from all the bedrooms, the living space and the pool area. The location was wonderful and close to beaches and hiking areas, less than a 20 minute drive to Calheta or the trekking areas in the mountains behind the house. Not really that far to anywhere on Maderia and we also had days out in Porto Moniz and even Canical was less than an hours drive. House was easy to find, check in was easy and hosts were very helpful throughout. Would highly recommend.

Big villa for us three tht went would definitely book again and could take the whole family. Lot of room and was an easy home base to explore the island.

Very pretty and big apartment, with a great balcony and ocean view. A lot of furniture. Marlene was very responsive. The town is super close by car (5 min) and very enjoyable. It is very calm, however they are building some houses in front of the apartment, starts quite early even the Saturday… Except this detail we enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you !
