Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Caldwell County

This was a fabulous place to stay! Steven worked to make our stay easy and stress free. I ended up not bringing my pets and he initiated my refund for pet fee without me even asking!!! Plus I left stuff behind and he was helpful when I contacted him. We turned around to go back and i was assured my entry code still good! It was!! Thank you!

We really enjoyed staying at Stephanie’s house over the weekend, location was good, house was clean.

The location was convenient and peaceful, making it a great place to relax and recharge. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive from start to finish. We truly appreciated how well-stocked and comfortable everything was — from the cozy beds to the fully equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Everything went great Hannah was great clear instructions easy to find quite alot of food options not to far away close to the highway. Would recommend

The Red Fig Farm house was exactly as described. Beautiful large pecan trees with a breezy front porch. Great place to stay.

We had a wonderful time at Tracen’s cabin, hiking, cooking, baking, playing games, fishing and kayaking. We loved the space and loved the 3-full bathrooms. That was a huge plus! As previously shared with Tracen, the only negative feedback was from our teenagers that the 2 top bunk mattresses were not very comfortable. We used what we could to help give them a little padding. Luckily, I brought a twin-size foam which helped a little. However, I would still highly recommend this place for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy time together with loved ones. We hope to be back ourselves if Tracen will have us again.

This was a thrifters dream! Our family had a wonderful stay and loved every detail! This home is in a quiet small town full of charm and is perfect distance from San Marcos to go to the river. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend!

Good host, quick to respond. House was clean and well stocked. River is easily the best part. Steep walk but concrete and steel stairwell make access easy. Ankle deep water to at most waste deep. Located at a v of a river. lot of area to hang out in. Lots of shady trees near the river edge. Might need to bring a tent if you plan you stay in one spot and not move ALL day due to the sun moving but can definitely get by on what’s there. It was a great time. Also a big porch hangout area with lots of space.

Words can not express how absolutely beautiful this property is. I didn’t want to leave , I’m actually already planning to book again. If that doesn’t say much , I don’t know what will. The pond was so cute , and has so much wildlife ! It was ridiculously peaceful. You can see So many stars at night. I will say it is in the middle of no where so pack accordingly. It’s like 20 mins drive to go to any major store.

Went to float the river and go clubbing in San Marcos. The house was in a perfect location, very close to San Marcos and very close to Austin. The house immediately felt right at home, and everything was clean and pristine. I would definitely recommend this place!

She is super accommodating, very helpful and family oriented. We will definitely book if we are in the area again.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! It was very nice, super cozy, and felt just like home. The kitchen was amazing—fully stocked with everything you’d need to start cooking right away. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I would absolutely love to come back again whenever I’m in town.

Great place with very responsive hosts. We appreciate them letting us have a late check out, and my kids had no problem finding things to do around the house.

We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend. The house was pristine. We enjoyed the community pool right across the street. Totally safe neighborhood. Well equipped, lovely furnishings...it will be our "go-to" for future San Marco's trips!

Katelyn's place was perfect for our needs. we needed to be close to San Marcos and South Austin. It sat in the best of both worlds. It was extremely close to anything that I wanted or needed. I would highly recommend her place to anyone.

I stayed at this Airbnb June 2025, and it was absolutely perfect. The space was clean, in a great location, and had a comfy bed. It was the ideal place to relax after a day on the river. Everything was as described. No issues with street parking. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kyle or the surrounding area!

This place was amazing. Photos don’t do it justice! We were able to bring our 2 dogs and they loved the river and had an amazing time! Beautiful town and not too far from San Marcos. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a perfect private get away!

This was our second stay here and we love this house and it’s perfect for us because my daughter and son-in-law live right around the corner . It has a great yard for the dogs and I love the layout . We will definitely stay here again

Arik was an amazing host! Super responsive and the home was stunning! We were floating the river nearby and could’ve walked to don’s fishcamp and/or Texas state tubes if we wanted to! Lovely home and was great for a little weekend getaway!

The AB & B experience better than Motel etc. Hospitable responsive hosts. Outstanding accommodations [no mosquitoes] beautiful grounds, Only slight issue was no address – host told me to contact AB & B – would not give address [and hung up on me & would answer call back] hosts finally supplied address and very responsive. Looking forward to rebooking!

We loved Rain’s little house and pretty spot by the pond. We felt right at home. It was a bit tricky figuring out where to turn on the long gravel drive to the gate. Other than that, the instructions were easy to follow, the place was clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay. Our favorite feature was the peaceful patio out back. ☺️
