The Red Haus was excellent trip. Lots of nature around the place, space to play games. Plenty of privacy, and attractions around the place. The hosts were always responsive and clear with instructions. Great for a larger group size as there is enough beds around the house and common space. Property was as described.

The house is absolutey stunning. We all loved both the indoor and outdoor space. We loved all being able to be together and the space was really made for gatherings so if you are looking for that then look no further. Additionally, we loved the small touches like the pictures of how the house was built! The glass walls really make it a one of a kind experience. Aaron, the host, was great to communicate with! Only suggestion if you read this is to bring your bug spray!

This cottage was perfectly curated for a family/friend’s getaway! Their home was spacious, and well equipped from the kitchen to the fire outside. If you didn’t have a plan for the weekend, they have a detailed booklet on everything near by. I really appreciated them giving us the heads up on the northern lights, and providing 2 Bon Echo Park passes to the guests! The communication was fast, and the location was perfect. There’s nothing more I could even ask for.

Fantastic setting! The place was clean and very well equipped, we lacked nothing. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful when we had questions. Wonderful clean lake and fun to explore with their kayaks. We found the indoor space a little tight (family of 5 adults), the rooms were small but comfortable. The outdoor space was phenomenal, lots of sitting areas, fire pits and we enjoyed the hot tub! It is not good for people with reduced mobility however. There are lots of stairs!

I booked this property with six friends for a quiet bachelor party and we could not have been more satisfied. The house was comfortable, extremely clean and was able to comfortably sleep seven people, which is hard to find for a similar price. We had full use of the kitchen and barbecue, complete with everything you need to cook for a large group. All the amenities (beach volleyball/badminton court, canoe, sports gear) were in fantastic shape. Andrew was also very responsive and made check in and check out simple which is always appreciated. I would easily recommend the forestree house to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Travelled to attend a family wedding. The cottage was ideally situated near other family members and the venue. Waterfront views were beautiful and beach access allowed us to enjoy kayaking-although it was still a little chilly for swimming ! Lilacs were in bloom and saw several deer both in the yard and at nearby nature reserve. The Point- provided great food and live music in walking distance!

The Lake point cottage resort was the perfect getaway for my boyfriend and our dog! We stayed here for the weekend and absolutely loved the area and the sauna included at this stay. The sauna was really a highlight, so cool to try a fire wood saina for the first time. Theres a bunch of amenities including a net with rackets and balls and kayaks and canoes all free with the stay. We had lots to do and to top it all off, the backyard had a stunning view of the sunset. Would highly recommend this for family, friends and couples! Thanks for having us :)

It's a beautiful place to go away with family. We enjoyed the hotub an the paddle boards an kayak. The weather wasn't great but we took advantage of games indoor an still managed to have a campfire every day!

This cottage is a small slice of paradise! The cottage is cozy and well-equipped, and the property is beautiful and easy to explore. We came with our 8-month old, and it was so nice to have children's books, different toys, and the play structure outside. We enjoyed a hike around the small lake, and we are hoping to return in the summer to get in the water.

Linda was a gracious host and incredibly responsive to any questions we had, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. The cottage itself was warm, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We especially loved spending time out on the deck and in the gazebo—both perfect spots to relax and take in the peaceful surroundings. The added bonus of kayaking brought a fun touch of adventure to our stay. Highly recommend!

Longview cottage has quickly become my favorite getaway. I visited for the first time about a month ago, and am already back. I was able to work remotely for the week, and it was the perfect adjustment to my normal routine. The location is great — you truly feel like you’re deep in the woods, but getting to the store or out for a quick bite is actually quite convenient. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Lovely stay for our short time in Golden Lake. Clean and well equipped with beautiful views of the lake. Highly recommend for others.

I stayed at Michael’s place in June 2025 with some friends for a weekend getaway, in total there were 6 adults and one dog. The location was super easy to find and matched the photos and description exactly. Michael’s instructions were very clear and we had no issues whatsoever getting in and set up. It was also so nice to have an earlier check-in time than other Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at (check-in was at 1pm). The place is incredibly well-stocked, we were beyond impressed with the provided amenities, any little thing we may have forgotten was provided for us. We enjoyed the bonfire and the jacuzzi tub in the evenings, and had no problem following the easy instructions provided. We immensely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it for a small gathering of family or friends! We did also notice many little touches that would make a stay with children very comfortable. Thanks Mike for such a lovely stay!

this was the perfect cottage. didn't matter where you were you always had a view of the lake. beautiful dock for boats and a beautiful dock for relaxing on or to swim from. it was so relaxing and peaceful. watching the hummingbirds at the feeder was such a beautiful touch. sitting in the beautiful Adirondack chairs having my morning tea was fantastic. we even got a visit from an otter who just did his thing on the deck while we watched him from the big livingroom window. I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for relaxation and peace. the pictures don't do it justice. the host is great. the instructions we got ahead of time were great to have as we knew what we needed to bring. the place was absolutely clean. everything we needed was there. it really felt like it was my own place. the furniture and beds were all comfy. thank you thank you thank you dreamnest for sharing your place with others to experience tranquility. the name definitely suits it.

We had an amazing stay at the Jackalope Lodge. Shawn is a fantastic host, responds quickly and was friendly and efficient when he met us to show us around. The cottage and the grounds are wonderful. We celebrated the New Years with my extended family, 13 of us! There were comfortable beds for everyone and plenty of cozy space to enjoy. The hot tub and sauna are clean and well kept and great to enjoy in winter. The outdoor space is wonderful - we saw beautiful wildlife in the water and the fire pit area is phenomenal. The kitchen is well equipped - you can cook pretty much anything as well as bbq on the large deck. We highly recommend - you will not be disappointed. :)

We had a great time at Brenda’s space on the lake. Being able to look out over the lake was a great way to wake up. Brenda was responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

Есть камин , можно насладиться прекрасной атмосферой. Внутри нас ждал сюрприз много вкусняшек и видов кофе и чая. Отдых был сказочным. Дженифер невероятно приятная и отзывчивая.Планируем сюда вернуться опять.

Thank you Ryan!! This listing is the perfect escape from the city and has EVERYTHING you need. The host was very responsive, walked us through setting up a fire. Even in the craziest of snowstorms it was cozy and warm. Gorgeous decor. Comfortable couch. Couldn't say enough nice words!! Some airbnbs you can tell the host has never actually stayed there because they are missing dishes etc or it's not set up nicely. This place was PERFECT and you can tell the host puts a lot of care into the space and has stayed there themselves. Will have to be back!!!!!!!

The cabin and its surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and Mark and Tayler are amazing hosts! I came for a weekend of peaceful relaxation, and I couldn’t have asked for a better setting. The small touches (like a wood stove set up with kindling, bird feeder food ready to use, vinyl collection with stereo ready to play) made the visit feel truly magical. I can’t wait to visit again!

Jam’s cottage was perfect for our little getaway!! We enjoyed the house and soaked in the views of the lake from dinning area. Hot tub was nice as the weather was still bit cold. We will surely book again in summer next time!!

We had an amazing stay at Jas’ place! The place was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Jas was incredibly responsive (even went out of his way to send us local events happening the weekend we were staying) and made check-in super easy. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space. The stairs were a lot but a great workout lol! We didn’t have the best luck with weather that weekend but Jas had so many games that made staying inside fun. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone planning a weekend getaway from the city! Thank you Jas!!

I couldn't be more thankful to Sean for opening up this gorgeous cabin/house for us on the most amazing river. The house is immaculate, trust me I'm an airforce brat! The Sofa and chairs invited you ti relax as long as you want in deep comfort, and the lovely extra blankets and cushions are just wonderful. At night, the firepit and the comfy chairs kept us all smiling. The screened tent is fantastic for sitting right beside the river. The stones at the water's edge are flat and smooth mostly, great for getting your feet wet. And the best part of all, the wonderful sound of the river, which you can hear from the front door. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the wildlife. Ducks, Robin's, yellow finches, hummingbirds, and more. The chipmunks are adorable as well. MY friends and I were sincerely impressed and had an amazing stay.
