Great place for long term stays

Sara's place was just as described in the listing & pictures, perfect for my wife and I during our month-long visit. The suite is thoughtfully laid out with a useful kitchen (including dishwasher), comfortable living area with TV, in-unit washer & dryer, and even a small outdoor patio area. The location was quite accessible to local stores and restaurants and the 101 freeway. Sara was super responsive in all her communication, even bringing over some extra kitchen items for us to cook. The air conditioning was both effective and quiet (July does get toasty in SoCal.) Would definitely recommend both the space as well as Sara as a host!

Great place to stay, neighborhood is peaceful and picturesque and safe. The room itself is very peaceful and relaxing. Very comfortable bed. It felt very private; we were able to enjoy the little patio outside and come and go without concern. Our rental Chevy Malibu scraped the pavement going in and out of the driveway every time, but we weren’t too bothered by it.

Simply the best. The photos can’t do justice to the sweeping canyon views, sunsets, or the local wildlife, birdsongs, and wildflowers. Billy, Lori, and their sweet dog Dora were so friendly and welcoming, they felt like family after 5 minutes. Location was ideal for us, about equidistant between Malibu and Thousand Oaks, and we spent a lot of time at the beaches but always looked forward to getting “home.” There are so many exquisite spots on the multiple patio decks to enjoy the fresh air and nature that you never relax the same way twice! It’s also located right near the Backbone Trail and we enjoyed hiking and running several sections of it. Oh and can’t forget the bed— it’s a literal dream. I think I had some of the best sleep of my life here. Overall 10/10. Great panoramas, great price point, great people. We will be back.
