If you are looking for a romantic getaway or want to feel like you’re in a private mini oasis - Yuma @ Shacks is your place. It’s a 2 minute walk from the nearest beach. There are several fantastic restaurants and places to eat within a 15 minute drive. This is an ideal spot for a nice relaxing vacation or getaway. Willy was a fantastic host that was responsive and made everything seamless throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend this place and I would go back again!

We arrived at sunset so our first impression of the place was jaw dropping. The photos do not do it justice. The scenery is spectacular. The space is super comfortable. We were able to park two vehicles easily. Yes, the road is narrow, but it’s doable. The rooms were comfortable and the AC worked great. Bathrooms were a perfect size, but the water pressure wasn’t the best. I did have some issues with the fridge the first night, but after 24 hours we didn’t have any issues. We contacted Nelson with some of the concerns and he addressed them immediately. He was super responsive and friendly. The balcony deck on the second floor is perfect especially for taking pictures. House is the prettiest house on the beach. It’s right next to a restaurant that is open through the day.

We had a fantastic weekend stay at this beautiful, private property that gave off serious Santorini vibes! The space was spotless, tastefully decorated, and felt like our own little paradise. The location was perfect, close to great restaurants and stunning beaches, yet tucked away in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. Our host was truly excellent, attentive, kind, and made everything easy. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Kevin’s place was absolutely amazing! We stayed for our babymoon, and it couldn’t have been more special. The space is intimate, peaceful, and perfect for two. It was spotless when we arrived so clean and well-kept, which made us feel right at home. Even though we only stayed for two nights, it was such a memorable experience, we’re already planning to come back and stay longer next time! The view was beautiful, and the beach is just a short walk away. The soothing sounds of nature made everything feel even more relaxing. We loved hearing the animals at night and spotting iguanas around the property it truly added to the charm. Thank you, Kevin, for helping make our babymoon so magical!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The highlight was definitely the view, it’s absolutely stunning and even better than the photos. Waking up to that scenery every day was a treat. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mary’s beachfront apartment in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, and it was nothing short of amazing. The apartment itself is spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The views from the balcony are absolutely stunning — you can see the turquoise waters of the Caribbean and the soft sandy beach just steps away. The location is perfect for those who want to relax and enjoy the beach, but also close enough to explore nearby restaurants, shops, and attractions. Mary was an exceptional host, always responsive and welcoming, offering great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay. The apartment was well-equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay — from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy bedding and plenty of towels. Whether we were enjoying a morning coffee on the balcony or watching the sunset in the evening, it was the perfect place to unwind. I highly recommend it!!! 😁

There was a broken cabinet drawer that had important cooking items in it and a broken LED strip over the kitchen sink, but that did not ruin our trip. The location was amazing. View from the deck was amazing. We were right next to clear beautiful water and the sunset was right off our balcony. I would recommend this place to anyone. The inside was beautiful as well with furniture and colors giving a nice relaxing accent to the beach ocean side.

Beautiful home. It looks just like the photos. Comfortable beds. Cold A/C’s in the rooms. Breathtaking countryside views. The outdoor pool area has a bathroom and an outdoor shower, grill, stove, fridge, cooler, TV…just like the photos. Only had to communicate with Eduardo once, he answered immediately. The house is 15-20 mins from Gozalandia waterfalls. Around 35mins to Crash Boat beach. Tips: If you use Waze navigation app you will likely end up a couple of miles away in someone else’s house for some reason. Use Google Maps instead to get to the house. The mountain roads the house sits on are manageable to drive on, well maintained and not too narrow. If you’re coming from Jobos beach/Isabela area, the GPS will likely take you through a very narrow country road with many potholes (I believe it’s 112) try to avoid it if you’re not used to that. Take main roads…the 2 then 111 before going up the mountain to the house. If coming from San Juan take highway 22 then 129 then 111.

Not everyone who goes to Puerto Rico seeks solitude. We did and Sammy’s place provided just that. It was a remarkable stay. I would be remiss not to mention that we experienced an island-wide power outage. Sammy provided a generator and was very attentive to our needs during that time. We ended up leaving a day early (our choice) as it was unclear how long the outage would last and the downstream issues that might occur at the airport. Sammy’s place provided exactly what he promised, and we had a lovely time.

Nelson is an amazing host! The place was outstanding, looks even better once you arrive in person! Any questions I had, Nelson answered and made sure I was good from the second I had arrived. Being at this beautiful place was like living in a dream, I really did not want to leave at all! I will MOST DEFINITELY be booking here again in Cabo Rojo and I do truly recommend this place for anyone who is looking to have the best experience possible here in Puerto Rico!
