We are located at mile 144 on the Parks Highway within Denali State Park. Denali National Park entrance is about 100 miles north. Byers Lake is only 4 miles north with lots of hiking, fishing, kayaking and full of adventure. Some other popular hiking trails within Denali State Park include Kesugi Ridge, Byers Lake, Ermine Hill, Little Coal Creek, Lower and Upper Troublesome. See as much of Alaska as you can knowing at the end of a long full day you will have a comfortable place to come back to.

Common space has a twin, pull out couch, and a pull out twin. There is a 1/2 mile walking trail on the property and access to local bike and ski trails.

In mid-July through mid-September salmon often swim by your deck. Our single room streamside cabin rests on the Southfork branch of Montana Creek, built from local spruce and birch. We do not have television or hot running water; our bathroom is a cozy outhouse.

Great spot near Talkeetna center. Comfy bed and great to have laundry! We had a nice night here. It’s about 8-10 min drive to the main restaurants and shops, so make sure you have a car if you stay her. Definitely a small bathroom (as mentioned in other reviews), so just know that going in! Would stay here again.

I had 2 reservations for Toru and Mitzi’s place. Some family decided to come at a later time after I originally booked. Toru was very helpful and accommodating with re-opening a listing so I can add more people to the reservation. Toru and Mitzi are such wonderful hosts and sweet people. The experience was what made this part of our trip. The cabin was peaceful and the surroundings were beautiful. There is a direct view of Denali mountain from their cabin. We had a clear day and were able to see the top of the mountain. The outdoor hot tub is amazing. This whole stay was such a wonderful experience for me and my family. Thank you Mitzi and Toru!!!

Wonderfully quaint cabin on a beautiful property. Lisa and her family were wonderful hosts and helped us fix a bad tire and keep our trip stress free. Great experience and would love to return!

This was a gorgeous little stop on our trip, not too far from the end of the Talkeetna spur. The cabin was so cozy and right near the water, would definitely come here again.

The interior of the outhouse features a wooden structure with exposed beams and string lights, creating a warm ambiance. A round opening serves as a toilet, with a barrel used as a sink, and a small shelf displays toiletries. Sheer curtains offer privacy while allowing light to filter in.

Cleanest airbnb I've ever stayed in! It looks new and is definitely well taken care of. Not far off the main road, but still peaceful and private. Felt safe there, the door has an electronic lock so it automatically locks when door is closed. The windows have remote controlled shades that block out the light really well. Only booked for one night but would go back again and recommend to others! Perfect distance for our trip as we went to Denali (2 hrs) and then next day went to Hatcher Pass Atv tours (also a must do activity!)
