Gilbertsville is one of only two New York villages which are included in the National Historical Register in their entirety. Our Bed and Breakfast is located in a historic 1820s building, which has housed numerous businesses through the years, including a bank and grocery. At one time, it was the print shop that published The Otsego Journal and was formerly the home of Tarot Designing and Printing. The Bed and Breakfast is located on the second floor of the Print Shop. Nestled in this quaint 200-year-old village, it is next to the historic mansion, The Majors Inn, and across from The Value Way Country Store and the studios of various craftspeople and artists. The Bed and Breakfast acquired its name from the 1852 Signature Quilt which is featured along with other antique and contemporary quilts from the Butternut Valley. Our clean, comfortable, and convenient facilities will appeal to those visiting the Gilbertsville area, as well as those interested in quilts and Central New York Leatherstocking history. We will provide a selection of breakfast foods for you to choose from to create your own breakfast. Whether you stay one night or several, you will have a delicious variety of cereals, muffins, breads or cakes to eat. What a great spot. Highly recommend if you need to come to this region. Beautiful, rustic, peaceful. Would be nice to have body wash/soap as well as complimentary toothpaste in bathroom (I forgot mine, UGH!!!), but otherwise space was comfortable & well appointed. Clean, cozy, and comfortable.

Stunning Log Cabin in Oneonta Set On 30 Acres

This cabin is truly stunning and in a very private peaceful location. Unfortunately it rained the entire weekend of our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor serenity of the firepit and Adirondack chairs .. but the indoor amenities kept us cozy, comfortable and completely entertained. The kitchen is well appointed and stocked with necessary utensils, dishes and cleaners. bathrooms are spotless ( very important to this customer!) and stocked with soft towels, guest soaps and shampoo. Very warm, inviting feel to the whole place. Loved it!

The Maple Street House

A perfect escape from the city. We went up for Memorial Day weekend – 3 couples, 2 babies. The photos do not do this place justice! It is extremely spacious and comfortable. The house has lots of charm and sits on a beautiful, peaceful corner in Gilbertsville. It has none of the generic airbnb feel you so often find in upstate rentals. The kitchen was nice and big so we could cook meals together and there's a large dining table we were all able to eat around. We grilled, sat around the fire pit. One night it rained so we sat in the living room listening to records by the indoor fire. In the mornings we walked to the nearby bakery for a cup of coffee and some of the best pastries I've ever had (seriously). We booked at the last minute and John was incredibly accommodating and helpful – and had some great local tips. We will definitely be back!
