Our stay at Laween’s place was perfect for our time in Mumias. Edith our host was very friendly and welcoming. The place inside matched photos and the communication was awesome! They have chickens and a dog named Ray! Also 2 guard dogs that come out at night. We always felt very safe and enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

Very nice place to stay. Was visiting a nearby school where I used to work. Bit difficult to find but easy to do when we had phone no. Sorry we could only stay one night

My stay was so comfortable that I extended my 10 day stay to 16 days. The linens were clean and fresh, the free internet and large screen smart TV kept me relaxed and connected. I enjoyed the functional kitchen, generous furniture and spaces, and convenient 10min walks to the CBD. I will visit again!

Compact and cosy, and with a small compound that has grass - you can sit outside! Homely feel, super responsive host. A good place to stay when you need quiet and/or want to get some work done. The desk/chair in bedroom 1 is a nice touch. Small, high bedroom 2 window faces access road and has a slatted screen and mesh, so not much light comes through - might be an issue for some. Location (Maraba) a couple of kms into a residential zone, so bit out of the way if you like being near malls. Good value for money.
