Sheskinarone - explore the Wild Atlantic Way

ChristinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Comfort and Warmth in the Countryside This beautiful cottage strikes the perfect balance between comfort and practicality. Thoughtfully equipped, it offers everything you need for a relaxed stay in the countryside. Just a note for future guests: there’s no Wi-Fi, but we truly didn’t miss it – it was part of the charm to disconnect for a while. If you’re a bit taller than 1.80 m, the beds might feel a little cozy—but with two bedrooms to spread out in, we had plenty of room and slept wonderfully! A wonderful place to unwind and feel at home. Highly recommended!

Had a lovely week with family in the beautiful cottage. check in instructions were straightforward. Cottage itself is situated in a peaceful and beautiful setting overlooking the atlantic Ocean. Rooms were comfortable and felt total relaxed during our stay. Would recommend this beautiful accomodation for family or a group of friends who would like to get away from it all. Amazing restaurants and the town of Dungloe is 15 minutes drive away.

We stayed at Fionnuala’s Cottage for one week in June 2025; it’s a great base to tour Northwest Donegal. Such a comfortable home from home! Ideal! We had a great holiday👌🏻

Cosy, rural Thatched cottage

ChristineRating, 5 stars3 days ago
What a truly magical place, a place where the faeries live… that’s how beautiful it is 💛 The cottage was a dream, with stunning grounds, a babbling stream 😍… everything about it was amazing! We were warmly welcomed and given a lovely tour by Michael, the owner and a true gentleman, which set the scene for a fabulous weekend. We had such a special time … thank you so much, Michael and Yvonne. We’ve already booked to come back in two weeks! 🤩

River Cottage Retreat~Sauna~Cold Plunge~Waterfall

ViktorRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Our stay at River Cottage felt less like checking into an Airbnb and more like stepping into Anna and Luke’s thoughtfully curated retreat. Nestled beside a usually gentle stream, the cottage offered a rare kind of quiet. We found ourselves unwinding in ways we hadn’t expected. As if the place itself were helping us silence the usual rush of thoughts. The sauna and cold plunge, discreetly positioned at the water’s edge, added a touch of simple luxury. They blended seamlessly into the natural surroundings rather than standing out as flashy extras, even when lit up at night. We explored the surrounding area by car and found Sligo to be the perfect complement to the cottage’s peaceful seclusion. My wife and I already feel drawn back to this little slice of Ireland - eager for another chance to recharge in the calm that Anna and Luke have created. We’re also looking forward to seeing their next ideas come to life.
