Beautiful Cotswold Annexe

Great hosts who responded quickly and nothing was too much trouble. Friendly village and perfectly located for our trip. Accommodation is extremely spacious for a couple, and has everything we needed. Some lovely little touches that made you feel welcome straight away.
A modern kitchen features light grey cabinetry and open shelving adorned with plants and glassware. A stainless steel oven and hood are positioned alongside a double sink, while a wooden dining table, with a few magazines on it, is visible in the foreground.

Charming, peaceful cottage

BethRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Emma’s home is beautiful. We had a lovely weekend here, we couldn’t quite believe that the garden and tennis courts were for us to use! From the start Emma was welcoming to us and our baby and dog, even finding us more chairs so my brother and his partner could join us for dinner one night. The dog who lives here didn’t take to ours straight away but both got used to each other after the first meeting. We had some issues with road closures on the approach (obviously nothing to do with the home itself) so be sure to check your drive and alternative routes as we got a bit lost due to Google maps not being up to date and having no signal to find another way! Lovely quiet area around with beautiful fields.
A decorative house sign displays the number '40' along with the name 'Cross Hayes', affixed to the rustic stone exterior of the cottage. The texture of the stone and the contrast of the sign add character to the entrance.

Cosy 2 bedroom Cottage

First of all, have to praise the host. John was very prompt right from the beginning at communicating with me. His user manual and related information is quite thorough. Since a few members of my family don't drink, he asked about it first and modified from their usual complementary prosecco to a box of chocolates that we absolutely loved. There were loads of clean towels and bed linen. Kitchen was stocked decently. There was enough cleaning stuff and bin liners to keep it near for a longer stay. Heating was easy to modify as we needed. The electric furnace added so much to relaxed evenings in. It was quite expensive but this area is in general more expensive so it's expected. I couldn't have found a better option for a short stay with my family. Worth it!
A living area features a stone fireplace with a woodburning stove, displaying flickering flames. Above, a flat-screen television is mounted on rustic wood beams. Soft lighting accents the space, complementing a neutral atmosphere, while a coffee table holds magazines and decorative items.

Corner Cottage

The cottage is an absolute gem of a place to stay. It is very cosy; especially at this time of year with the log burner alight. We arrived to a beautifully decorated Christmas tree in the living room, and all the wonderful attention to detail and touches in the cottage make it outstanding. In addition to the Christmas tree and festive cushions around, we were also welcomed with a hamper basket containing, milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, hot chocolate, chocolate - it felt like they knew exactly what we would want to feel at home. It is very comfortable and relaxing, so an ideal escape to wind down from city life. We were so fortunate to also be able to park right outside the cottage for our entire stay. Malmesbury is quaint, and only a 15 minute drive to Tetbury, and half an hour to Cirencester; which are both worth an explore whilst in the area. Thank you for being such super hosts - we look forward to returning.
The exterior of a charming Cotswold stone house is set amidst a green lawn, dotted with trees and gardens. The sky exhibits soft, swirling clouds and a visible moon, creating a serene backdrop for the peaceful countryside surroundings.

Pretty Garden Annex overlooking Open Fields

CharlieRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a lovely stay on Annie’s farm. Annie met us when we arrived to show us around and she was really friendly (we bumped into her and her husband a few times while we were staying and they were always really friendly to us). The farm’s location is lovely and peaceful, and my daughter enjoyed meeting the horses. The location was easy to find, and plenty of parking. The annex itself was clean and tidy, and had everything we needed as a base while we explored the surrounding area. We would absolutely recommend Annie’s annex as a great stay if your exploring the local area.

The Annex near Charlton, Malmesbury

I was working an event 10 minutes from Toby’s property and it was the perfect place to have somewhere to rest my head after a 12 hour shift instead of driving an hour home. Everything was as described and spotless. Check in was super easy and a great location. Would highly recommend!
