Our cozy cabin is located under tall pine trees on a beautiful, northern lake where loons and eagles frequent. Wood Lake is easily commutable - 80 miles from the Twin Cities. Swim and fish off the dock or pontoon during the day, and sit in front of the stone fireplace at night. The Cabin has been completely remodeled, with a modern kitchen and new furnishings. It is also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi with access to many streaming services. The Cardinal Cabin is the perfect lakeside retreat!

The Karen Mae - 1 Bedroom Cabin

This quaint 1 BR cabin is perfect for a little UpNorth getaway. The Chattering Squirrel Coffee Café is on property. You can wake up & grab a coffee & homemade Breakfast sandwich without even getting in your car! It's walking distance to the Shops on Main St, Restaurants, Movie Theater, Mini-Golf, Crooked Lake Park & Beach. We're a short drive from the Twin Cities, Duluth & Eau Claire. The cabin has been completely renovated while keeping some of the original historic charm & craftsmanship.
