Cabin vacation rentals in Burlington

The HideBehind was the perfect weekend getaway! We wanted something peaceful and private close to other parts of Vermont we wanted to visit. Everything about the cabin was perfect, it was clean, had helpful instructions and recommendations, and Scott and his wife were very friendly and welcoming. The hot tub and electric fire were easy to use and made our stay 100% more enjoyable. This is a place I would definitely recommend, and I myself would come back again!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Leslie's cabin. The setting was peaceful and beautifully maintained—a perfect escape. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed, especially with the thoughtful welcome gift waiting for us. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It's even better than the photos! We would absolutely love to return. Highly recommended!

My stay is hard to review. Was looking so forward to this weekend getaway but was battle tested with sickness and terrible weather. Nothing bad to say about the listing just bad timing making it hard to fully enjoy. I would highly recommend this stay otherwise as it was definitely capable of providing what I had wanted. We had a great stay at Robin’s cabin right on Auger Lake for my birthday. The cabin was very clean and cozy, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was great especially since we had unexpectedly cold weather for June. The area was very quiet and peaceful, but still close to a lot of cool places. Definitely will be coming back!

Not sure if it was the mattress, the sheets and quilt, the pillows, the Vermont woods, Vermont fresh air, or the rain hitting the roof… maybe all of it… but, my husband and I have not slept so well in… maybe EVER! Rob’s home is super comfy and dog friendly. The hot tub is a nice feature and works wonderfully. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful location for your visit, this hits all the marks. Sitting outside with your morning coffee is a treat. If weather doesn’t cooperate, recommend sitting in the den in front of the picture window. Our old dog truly appreciated exploring the fenced yard, and we loved allowing him off off-leash. Great place to stay!

Stunning natural surroundings, the cabin is nestled in valley by a brook, among the mountains, near trails, farms, and skiing. Lisa had some really nice touches and the house is well maintained, clean, and fun.

We loved Rebecca and Josh's place! The outdoor surroundings were serene and we loved how the place felt tucked away. We were weren't there long enough to explore any trails but we want to come back! There were many thoughtful touches to the place, and fire starters/fire wood provided for us. The hot tub was very relaxing! The inside of the house was decorated very artsy and tastefully! Definitely would recommend :)

Home now after a couple days at the cabin. Feeling fully rested and can’t express enough how much we needed this getaway. Ago and Marty go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and provide you with everything you could need to relax and have a great time. We will be coming back here. Hopefully soon.

The cleanest Airbnb I’ve been to! Wonderful host and beautiful Mountain Views with fresh air. Comfortable beds. Kitchen has everything a cook wants and needs. Would love to book again!

The cabin was spotless, private, and in great location. We enjoyed skiing during the day and cooking ours dinner at the cabin. This was a relaxing getaway for all.

The mountain view from the bedroom at sunrise is amazing through the large bedroom windows. The kids loved the projector and using the zip line out front. This place is fantastic and right around the corner from Jay Peak. The hosts are so helpful and responsive. I'll be checking here first when I'm heading up to the northeast kingdom next time.

Could barely tell we were off-grid! The internet was as fast as my home internet, and we were in the area to take care of some things, so that was really helpful, but I really wish we could have relaxed a bit. Every time I got a second to look around, I was amazed how beautiful it was. The only thing I wished I had was a washer and dryer, but it was clear in the description they were not included, which makes sense since its a cabin. Oh, and it would have been nice if it didn't rain the whole time, but the inside was comfy, so it wasn't a problem at all. Overall a beautiful place and a wonderfully responsive host. I will surely return if I need a place in the area again!

Merle was/is an excellent host. Great communication throughout our stay. Definitely won’t be the last time we go there. Beautiful scenery and wonderful landscapes. We enjoyed staying in Heidi's Hancock Hideaway! We enjoyed the peaceful, quiet & comfortable place. We enjoyed taking walks, sitting on the porch during the day & star gazing at night. Kitchen had everything we needed to make & enjoy our meals. Heidi made sure we had clear directions with perfect details to arrive at the Hideaway. We even had fun staying in and doing puzzles during the rainy days. Our dog enjoyed laying in the sunshine outside & in front of the windows. Local recommendations were great.

I only have great things to say about Christina’s place. The place was even better than the photos. As soon as I walked in, I remarked how cute it was. Christina communicated with me proactively and gave me a personal tour. She responded very promptly to communication and was lovely to talk to. Her place is serene and beautiful. I noticed a lot of thoughtful touches everywhere, including how the shower stall was built. (I 100% agree the shower head is amazing.) I enjoyed sitting by the brook and taking it all in. I was fortunate to have had the place to myself, but I cannot imagine there being any issues with another person or two there. Christina’s place was central to a lot of things I wanted to do in the area. I went on hikes and enjoyed delicious food. I would love to return this year.

Great little cabin for a weekend stay for my wife and I and our dog. Easy access to town for necessities and close to several local breweries. Would definitely stay here again.

Adorable, cozy cabin 10 minutes from Sugarbush ski resort. Very relaxing atmosphere. Well stocked with linens and firewood. Jill left us a little delicious treat. Would stay here again

Wow! This is one magical place. We stayed only one night and it rained but the beauty of the property is remarkable. The mature fruit trees buzz with the sound of their happy occupants and the wide porch allows you to sit in total solitude as you take in the peace and beauty. The cabin is perfect for 2 and has all the amenities you need. We look forward to returning in the future.
