Studio apartment at the foot of Wartburg

Entire, independent studio, 52 square meters, with well-equipped, integrated kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The location is ideal if you want to explore Eisenach, the Wartburg or the hiking opportunities on foot. (Bachhaus Museum, market and Luther House 10-15 min., Wartburg: about 35 minutes (forest path), train station: about 15 minutes Hiking: The forest begins right behind the house and many hiking opportunities are in close proximity. I am happy to provide tips and information. The windows of the studio face the courtyard, which is partly green and serves (largely) as a parking lot. Various restaurants and cafes are on the way to the nearby city center (about 6-10 minutes' walk). The surrounding southern quarter is the preferred residential area of Eisenach and is worth seeing for its many Art Nouveau villas alone. In winter, the historic Christmas market on the Wartburg is a special experience (on all weekends in Advent). If the nearby Prinzenteich (2 min.) is frozen, it is visited by young and old for ice skating! The studio (non-smoking), which consists of a large room with integrated kitchen, offers space for 2 people (1.40 m x 2.00 m) on a comfortable sofa bed. Since inquiries keep coming, there is now the possibility of a 3rd sleeping place on a guest mattress. Coffee and various types of tea are freely available. Linens, towels and hair dryers are provided. Also of course: rinsing utensils/dish towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo/shower bath. Guests arriving by car have a private parking space right in front of the entrance. Notice: actually the studio is not available on Wednesdays, (arrival Wednesday-evening is sometimes possible). Exception: school holidays. Note: With the exception of Thuringian school holidays and public holidays, the studio will not be available on Wednesdays from 4 PM to 6 PM. If your stay includes a Wednesday, you will receive a delicious breakfast as a small compensation. Just let me know your preferred day before arrival.

The sofa bed in the living room is very comfortable, so you can sleep well in two rooms. In the village, there is a nice outdoor pool and good gastronomy - surrounded by a lot of forest. A very nice host with a great Airbnb. Less than 5 minutes walk from the train station by train and bus connections and from the nearby Kaufland. The Soletherme is also within easy walking distance. To Eisenach about 25 minutes by car. A very great stay in a very nice apartment!!

Kathrin is a great hostess. The apartment was as described. The instructions that Kathrin gave me were very helpful. Small tip, the garage is too small for large vehicles ( my personal opinion) but there is plenty of parking nearby so no problem at all. Thank you Kathrin for the great time.

The apartment is much nicer than the photos can show! Fantastic! Super equipped, EVERY detail has been thought of! Great documentation about the apartment and the surroundings (hiking!). Good access to hiking trails, right behind the house is the beautiful area! Short walk to the old town (a bit steep, but if you are fit, you can take it as a fitness workout!). Christian and Anja are super nice and helpful, greeted us personally, live downstairs in the house, are accessible, but leave you full privacy. However, there is also a key safe if the arrival is inconvenient. Just leave the keys in the apartment when you leave. The area is really nicely laid out, holidays in Germany, great! The brand new suspension bridge, Kneipp basin barefoot paths, forest bathrooms, the ball tracks, also for the young at heart, made it easy to have fun! For families with children, too. We - 3 hiking-loving friends - will definitely be back, no matter what time of year!
