This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Nearby are beautiful cycling and hiking routes. Schoorl's mountain bike course is 5 km away. Cities in the near area are Schagen and Alkmaar. Houten Wammes is a cozy, modern holiday home suitable for 2 to 5 people and is located on the edge of the IJsselmeer, in the village of Andijk (North Holland). Located on a dike in the typical West Frisian landscape, you can enjoy nature in peace. If you like cycling, hiking or swimming: this area has a lot to offer. The house consists of a spacious entrance, open kitchen, cozy living room, modern bathroom, a spacious private (and very privacyful) garden.
