Staying at this homestay was a long-pending plan, and I’m so glad I finally made it happen! I first came across this place in a YouTube video last year and was instantly drawn to its stunning location. Seeing it in person was even better—it’s truly a hidden gem nestled in the heart of nature. The host, Parag, is an incredibly kind and down-to-earth person. I really appreciate the way he has thoughtfully designed the entire space. As soon as you enter through the gate, a long road leads you toward the homestay, just like the houses we used to draw in our childhood. The property is surrounded by an abundance of greenery, with banana, supari, and coconut trees, along with a variety of beautiful flowers. It feels like stepping into a dream home. I visited for my kid’s birthday, and it was absolutely worth it. The place offers serenity, the kind of peaceful atmosphere you’d expect from an ideal getaway. If you’re looking for a place to unwind amidst nature, this is the perfect retreat!

Mandar’s property is perched on a scenic hill near Dapoli Agricultural University, and our arrival couldn’t have been more magical. As we approached the bungalow, the entire hill was cloaked in dark clouds — a surreal drive through the mist from Dapoli Town that felt straight out of a dream. Just as we reached the property, the skies opened up and a heavy rainstorm with thunder rolled in, lasting for the next two nights. It was a divine, almost otherworldly experience — two days of total disconnection from the outside world. Despite the weather, we were perfectly comfortable. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped, allowing us to prepare our meals with ease. While the electricity supply was a bit spotty due to the storm, the backup system worked reliably and I was able to continue my work-from-home responsibilities without issue. This stay offered us a rare combination of nature’s raw beauty and the comforts of a thoughtfully maintained home. We’ll remember it for a long time.

Sanket is a great host. Even before we arrived, he coordinated well and helped us reach the place easily. The place is clean and located in a peaceful location. Sanket made sure we were comfortable, and provided everything we requested for. Would highly recommend this place for a stay.

The place is serene and located in an absolutely silent zone. The entire villa is beautifully designed and worth staying there. The central well and terrace are the highlights. The sunset at crop fields around look very nice. The kitchen and dining are specious and well arranged. Though there is no wifi, there is good jio mobile network. Actually its good to refrain from internet or social media at such a serene place, unless its really necessary. There was an unexpected electricity problem which even affected the functioning of existing inverter. But hosts were very helpful and cooperative. They quickly made an alternate stay arrangements for us to avoid the inconvenience. The caretaker women is also very polite and helpful. She can cook and provide fresh delicious food on request. Overall pleasant experience of this wonderful place named "kalpak house" The place is highly recommended for family or friends get-together. Would definitely love to visit again.

This is a great place to relax and have a nice quite vacation. We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. The host is very welcoming and helpful. The property is very well maintained and in a very peaceful location. Shailesh kaka, the owner is an amazing host. Always available for you and will provide you solutions for everything. He arranged for an escort (Shinde kaka) to come with us to the fish market at the jetty to help us select fish. Shinde kaka then prepared the fish for us also. It was absolutely delicious. Shailesh kaka also guided us with tips of what to see around Ratnagiri. In all we had a great stay. Pros: - peaceful and clean property - all amenities in working conditions - amazing hosts Cons: - Property is a bit far from Ratnagiri and Ganpatipule - food can be improved

Nice bunglow with all essential amenities and calm location. Beach is just 5 mins walk. The place is maintained very well. The caretakers are very kind and cooperative, with homely touch. Food is also good. In all, its best place to stay if you are a group of 10-12 people.

Super Host, Always ready to help. Goes an extra mile to support customers. I strongly recommend this place for a Home like experience. Does not have a fancy setup but gives you a home like feeling. Big groups can easily enjoy the terrace for fun and games. Liked it thoroughly.

The beautiful bungalow itself was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. It provided a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities. We particularly appreciated the large windows, comfortable living area, well-equipped kitchen. The private parking was a huge plus, making it easy to come and go as we pleased.
