Family-friendly vacation rentals in Buffalo National River

Great property at a great price. There was so much to do. The unit exceeded expectations. I would recommend calling to ensure you get a bottom floor unit if you have people who struggle with stairs in your party (check photos).

Doug’s place was a welcome retreat for our extended family for Thanksgiving 2024. We had seven adults and 6 kids - all had an amazing time. Here are some things we really liked about Doug’s place: 1. The kitchen was spacious and squeaky clean. There were loads of appliances and helpful kitchen tools to use. Our family was able to prepare our entire Thanksgiving meal in the bright, spacious, and well-equipped space. 2. The huge dining room table easily fit our large party. We loved the dark wood and the contemporary benches to complement our holiday feast. There was also additional seating at the kitchen bar. Lots of room to entertain. 3. The kids, aged 8-16, loved playing in the basement game room. Pool, foosball, basketball, and a large device-compatible screen. The television also has many streaming services. Lots of seating and sports for lounging. The six kids loved it. 4. The hot tub was a nice touch on the cool days and nights. The tub could hold 8 adults easily. Fun times!

Fantastic view, peaceful and comfortable beds. Host is very responsive and helpful. Great recommendations for food and coffee. He even helped my mother find an old friend. Pet friendly and provided dog bed, bowls and treats. Very thoughtful host. We would absolutely stay there again. :)

I’ve stayed at this house several times because it’s a great to spend time with friends. Big rooms, lots of space, and a fully + equipped kitchen. The screened in dining area off the kitchen is one of my favorite places anywhere. Tea in the morning with a view of the dense trees and the birds chirping is amazing. The sound of the accumulated due dripping from leaf to leaf is mesmerizing. The place is Amazing! Chris is also a great Superhost. I’ve traveled most of the globe, and this is one of my favorite places on the planet!

We loved it. We came to the area for hiking and canoeing, and while we didn't get to do a LOT of that because of the weather and rain, we still had a fantastic time because we were able to get away, play games, and just relax. We were really impressed with the cabin. The big front porch was great for watching the rain and drinking coffee. The hot tub was great for relaxation. He had everything we needed, and was super friendly and helpful - thank you Davis! The driveway to get to the house may not be for every person or vehicle, but we did not mind. It was totally doable with 4x4, and Davis has spent a lot of time, money, and effort improving it (and is still working on it even over the weekend we were there) - raging flood waters don't take it easy on anyone. Thanks again Davis, for a fantastic place to get away from everything!

What a wonderful place to stay ! We had 2 families complete with 4 kids. The pool was right out our door as well as a playground . Sadly due to covid the playground was closed, but that was understandable . Great place for a family !

We were very pleased with the cabin and the location. We felt right at home. Very clean throughout the home and outside. Loved that we could have a small fire and roast marshmallows and hotdogs and just relax. No sounds of the city or traffic. If you are looking for a peaceful relaxing getaway this is the cabin for you.

My wife and I loved this cabin! We stayed here for our 11th wedding anniversary. It was just the place we needed for some peace and quiet and quality time together. We loved the rocking chairs on the deck/porch, the bedroom jacuzzi, and just the overall layout of the home. It was definitely a memorable stay!

It’s always nice getting away to the mountains, and being able to stay at a cabin like this one. You’re in the countryside, but also not too far from town. Highly recommend!

Relaxing, peaceful, and consistent stay as always. The evening rain and sheet-lightning was really nice to watch through the skylight!

My best friend and I stayed here to spend some time at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch without having to camp in the heat. It was SO nice to have a comfortable place to rest our heads after a day of tough climbing! The space was very cozy and private - the land around the cabin was beautiful and the whole experience was restorative. Excellent cabin, wonderful hosts. Would highly recommend!

The only negative was the stairs! Other than that the condo was beautiful and our dog loved spending time on the balcony!

So many people have said wonderful things about Barbara’s place so it seems that my words would just fall in amongst them. There was something so special about the location and the peaceful atmosphere that when I say “we didn’t want to leave “, I really mean it. It rained and stormed while we were there and it just made everything more beautiful. It was our anniversary and we needed that time together that we don’t get at home. The driving distance to town was just right. The trails on the property led to clear water that you could hear from the porch because of the rain. The fire pit allowed us to roast marshmallows and hotdogs. Our beagle enjoyed sitting on the back deck watching for rabbits or squirrels. Barbara provided beverages, condiments, tea, and even coffee. The way the house is decorated is refreshing but also draws you in to the importance of history and of leaving a legacy of love. We thank you Barbara. From our hearts. May God continue to bless you in all you do and share

location was on point between Eureka springs and Branson. the house was perfect for 2 couples. A/c worked really well, but house needed a Lil attention, back stairs broken, not enough towels and PLEASE, put some lights in that place!! lighting was horrible inside the house. besides that, we had a great 6 nights in your Windsong Cottage!!! love renting thru Arbnb! will definitely recommend this cottage to my friends!!

Wonderful stay with everything we needed! Close enough to everything, but far enough to be peaceful

The place was fantastic. It was super clean and was very spacious. We had 10 people in out place and had no problems getting around. all the little games and activities are very cool and well kept also. definitely would go again.

This place was absolutely beautiful. The view was amazing. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were really nice.

I've stayed here a few times and will be back next year.

Great property with a great view! This property was furnished better than most other properties I have rented. I would highly recommend this property.

The place was perfect for a last minute getaway! Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking and the variety of toys was great for our younger boys. The road was quiet with no traffic and the scenery around the property was perfect for our younger boys to play and explore. While we didn’t launch our boat this trip, we are looking forward to another stay when we can!
