We were looking for a quiet corner in Darjeeling - away from the bustle and chaos of the Mall Road. Gurjeeb's place is perfect for that. It's located about 3 km away from the Mall Road, which gives it the kind of quiet and serenity we were after. One needs to drive about a minute down from the main road and then take a flight of stairs to reach Gurjeeb's place so if you want very easy accessibility, this is something you should consider. But the property itself is worth the effort. The room in the attic is big and pretty, with all basic amenities available. A special shoutout to Gurjeeb's cousin Sujan who looked after us very well and took care of all our needs. He helped us get our luggage up and down the property - which would have been a hassle otherwise - and made amazing local food for us. The Happy Valley Tea Estate is a 10-minute walking distance from here and it's quaint, quiet and amazing. Loved the overall vibe of the place and will love to return in the future.

The Homestay - Humble. If you're seeking peace and tranquility, you must come here. Sit by the window and all you see is the lush green panorama, all you hear is the endless chirping of birds. And when you see the clouds rolling in through the valley, you may never want to leave. The Host - Like a brother, he took care of us. Prakash bhai was there when our flight was hours late and we arrived post midnight. He did complain a bit, but that's his pahadi sense of humour. Never said no to any requests/demands. He offered us snacks+coffee+rum, and did not charge a single penny more, even though all of it was out of his meal plan. And he suggested us hikes/treks around Gurdum. This is where Chandan bhai comes in. The man not only cooked for us, but was also our guide on a short but thrilling hike to Dumbarkhola falls. Amenities - Basic. Clean room, delicious food. If you're a yak/pork lover, ask for it. 3 meals, 2 tea+snacks per day is offered at ₹600. Come here, rediscover yourself.

As a professional traveler , I mostly travel alone. This time my decision to stay at Fursat Home stay is the one of greatest decision of mine. Tshirin brother and Her wife is so much helpful as well as cooking is so much awesome. Tshirin brother Hosts me the local areas as well as the adventure travels inside forest. those are my out of expectations but total worth value return travel ever. i highly recommend this stay

From the moment I arrived, I felt at home, welcomed by the kind-hearted owner and the ever-caring staff. Their hospitality was as heartwarming as the serene surroundings. Nestled in an exotic location, the homestay offered a mesmerizing view that unfolded like a dream. Standing on my balcony, I was left speechless by the sheer magnificence of nature’s artistry. An ever changing canvas of mist kissed hills and tranquil landscapes. Every moment spent there was nothing short of magical, making it a stay to remember. Scenic beautiful and peaceful…. These are just few words to describe this serene property in Kalimpong. Our host was proactive suggesting best route to the place, restaurants or sightseeing that were unmissable. We wanted to stay in Kalimpong to escape the noise and crowd in other major tourist spots and this bnb was perfect for it… Im sure I can come back to this place again and again. If anyone is coming to Sikkim or Darjeeling, they should set aside 2 nights at least to live away from hustle and bustle and try this Bnb.

We had a wonderful stay at Birendra's Airbnb! The place boasts a modern touch with stunning infrastructure, surrounded by lush tea gardens and serene forests truly a nature lover's paradise. Birendra was an exceptional host, always communicative and eager to help with any questions we had. One of the highlights was the delicious home-cooked meals prepared by his family; they were a delightful addition to our experience. The cleanliness of the space was impeccable making us feel right at home. The surrounding attractions, including scenic trails and local tea plantations, provided ample opportunities for exploration and relaxation. Overall, this was a perfect getaway spot for anyone looking to unwind in nature. Highly recommend!

My wife and I were looking for a peaceful workation away from the city bustle, and we couldn’t have found a better place than this place at Takdah. Nestled in serene surroundings with stunning valley views, the stay had everything we needed — strong Wi-Fi for work, cozy corners to unwind, adorable furry friends, and the most delicious, homely food. What truly made our five-day escape special was the warm hospitality of our amazing host, Ramita ma’am, and the incredible kids at the stay, Ganga and Namrata. They went out of their way to make us feel at home, pampering us with kindness and mouthwatering meals. If you’re looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating workation spot — this is it. The place was absolutely magical! The house was super cozy and good for a group stay. Prayag is an absolutely wonderful host and helps to take care of everything. The view from the place is beautiful , rooms are cozy and clean. Overall - good stay and Would definitely like to come back here :)
