Had such a lovely time here. Rooms were as shown in the pictures. Amazing heating, shower and great cooking facilities. Beautiful location. Lawrence was always very helpful with any questions we had and responded very quickly. No complaints at all! Highly recommend staying if you are visiting the area. The only improvement would be to make the property easier to find on check in. 10/10 would love to stay here again

The Old Stables, Town Farm

LiseRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The accommodation is located on a campsite, which creates a very cozy atmosphere. There are plenty of walking opportunities with little to no road crossings. The accommodation was clean and fully equipped for 4 to 5 people. The beds are comfortable, as are the sofas and other furnishings. Communication with the host was excellent, and we also had a contact person from the campsite available. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous English Country Barn

PaulRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay at the Oak Barn at Hedsor was wonderful. The lodging itself is beautiful with large bedrooms and a huge sitting and dining area upstairs beneath the large oak beams. The location worked well as it allowed us to explore the Thames Valley and make two day trips into London. The estate property is beautiful, so do walk and note the different trees and plantings. We highly recommend this property and the people who live and work there.

The barn is beautiful and very well fitted out. Fabulous setting, absolutely stunning and super peaceful and quiet. The one bathroom was challenging at times with a party of adults but the rest of the barn is faultless and such a joy to stay in. The tennis court and other amenities were fabulous.

Brilliant location, homely feel and a host that couldn’t have provided for us. From a complimentary breakfast selection of pasty’s, eggs and cereals to a written booklet of places to eat / drink / party in the evening only in a less then 10 minute taxi drive away. Beautiful surrounding scenery with friendly local pubs… Can’t recommend enough.

17th Century barn near Berkhamsted

Charlie Rating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Absolutely loved our stay at the Stonehouse in Potten End. The building itself is stunning and so beautifully decorated with thoughtful heirlooms and paintings by the family. The beds and linen were very clean and comfortable and it was spacious and perfectly furnished with everything we needed. Trevor and Nantika were very hospitable hosts and answered all our messages really promptly. They were friendly and attentive during our stay, and kindly arranged last minute for Nantika to give us massages when we found out she's a very skilled masseuse! It was lovely to have use of the beautiful back garden and we made the most of visiting some nearby sights, I causing Ashridge Estate, Tring Reservoirs and Berkhamsted Castle. I would highly recommend Stonehouse to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway just 40 mins drive from London! We hope to come back again soon :)

Two Bed Large Countryside Barn with Indoor Pool

TimRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My wife and I have tried many Airbnb's in the Henley on Thames area and this is the best by far. Not only is the facility outstandingly beautiful and quiet but Fiona's attention to every detail of comfort plus her genuine concern with ensuring one's stay is completely satisfactory are rare treasures these days.

Modern Barn 3 miles from Henley

NickRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Little Orchard nestles less than 10 minutes drive from Henley On Thames. Situated set back from the road in amongst the trees, the barn conversion is spacious and well appointed. The lounge has a fabulous long and very comfortable sofa and an equally fabulous TV and surround sound speaker system. Great for watching movies! The kitchen consists of a long work surface area with sink and cupboards but also microwave and a full sized oven and under counter fridge with a freezer section at the top. Whilst we didn’t cook a meal from scratch, we didn’t need for anything and the kitchen seemed to have all of the utensils & equipment you could need. The bathroom is downstairs, small & a little chilly as there is no means of heating the room but the water was lovely and warm. I should add that the rest of the property warmed up very quickly shortly after we turned the heating on. The bedroom was fabulous. Very comfortable bed and lovely bedding & pillows… the best we have had at any AirBnB.

Historic Manor Stables - Chilterns Hideaway

TracyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Merlins' Stables is fabulous, in design, decor, furnishings, attention to detail and the instructions. Absolutely lovely. The only things we would like to see done differently is the Pass The Keys Customer Service do not actually know the property. They are based in the US I think. If you do have a query/question it takes quite a while to explain it, prove it (as they refer to the script and give standardised answers initially) then get to an answer. This can be frustrating. Secondly the garden is not secure for a dog. It is open to the drive way and there are gaps in the hedge so it is necessary to keep your dog on the lead. Otherwise it is genuinely a very special place. We have been twice now.

South Oxfordshire retreat, entire top floor barn.

RichardRating, 5 stars5 days ago
I have used a lot of world wide vacation rentals. My goal is to get a place that is not unlike being at home. This one does that exceedingly well. It was well appointed. The king size bed was a bonus. The kitchen has all of the modern conveniences. The bathroom is roomy. The TV entertainment package was well above what I expected. Sally went above and beyond so that we wanted for nothing that would make the stay very pleasant. And, I do mean absolutely nothing! The Barn is in a semi-rural, peaceful area, but it close to grocery stores, train station, and some day trip areas. The communication between Sally and I started right after booking and was exceptional. She provided a wealth of help with directions, tour info, and other helpful suggestions that made our stay hassle free. She was always accessible when we had questions. I cannot say this about all of my vacation rentals... My wife and I would definitely return to The Barn.
An inviting kitchen area features wooden cabinetry and modern appliances, including a washing machine and microwave. Natural light filters through a large window, offering views of the surrounding countryside. A round dining table is accompanied by four black chairs, creating a practical space for meals.

Jo was super kind..... she personally welcomed us and showed us around, which made everything smooth right from the start. The place is well equipped and set in the countryside, so it is REALLY quiet. I enjoyed the most doing my morning routine while watching horses roaming just outside the window. it was a really nice... peaceful weekend. Would definitely recommend!

Log Cabin + Hot Tub, Hopcrafts Farm

JeniRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved the location! Stunning views and a gated entrance giving a secure feel. Our cabin was lovely - well equipped with loads of extra goodies which was a lovely touch. Bath towels provided and separate towels for the hot tub. Sadly the hot tub wasn’t working for our visit however we were very quickly told that we could use the hot tub at the main residence, which actually had even better views so that wasn’t a problem and we didn’t feel overlooked or a bother. We loved having all the animals around the farm and grew especially fond of Lenny the cat who spent a lot of time with us. The hosts were incredibly friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. Thank you for a lovely stay.

No.1 The Dutch Barn, light open-plan living.

JonathanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My wife, my mother and I stayed at the Dutch Barn in Wicken, Monday to Friday. The property is wonderful, presented to a very high standard and spotlessly clean. There were lovely views from the upstairs of the property across the surrounding fields. It was ideally located close to a number of National Trust properties we wished to visit. Sophie and Andrew were very responsive and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend a stay and would not hesitate to book The Dutch Barn again in the future.

A spacious & stylish retreat, ideal for long stays

BenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our second stay at Little Barn, and it was just as sweet as the first! It's perfect for working away from home - a cosy retreat with plenty of space and good furnishings. You feel nicely secluded in the country, but there's plenty in Thame, Haddenham and beyond. Julia and Jonathan are fantastic hosts. We're already dreaming of our next visit!
