This is a unique place to spend some time with extremely nice people whose work seems to make them happy and independant. The food is exceptional and you can even get a super tasty fresh cheese in their cheese factory. They have an interesting small museum to share their tradiotion and a lovely sourradings we enjoyed while walking. This was some kind of experience we will never forget.

I always stay at this place in Alausí when traveling between northern Ecuador and southern Ecuador. It's comfortable, safe, easy, has secure parking, a fridge to keep your food cold , is perfectly located and has a nice view. 100% recommended.

A little oasis of secure calm in a busy area. Walkable to all the sights. Very friendly and helpful host. Hot showers and washing machine and dryer on site were a huge plus.
