Entering the village through the Ródão Gates and looking to the right, the visitor comes across Casa da Silveirinha. Framed, on one side, by the cliffs that lead to the Castle and, on the other, by the immensity of the surrounding landscape, the House provides those who rest in it with the feeling of going back in time and becoming the guardian of the entrance to the village.

It was renovated a couple of years ago, and is fully equipped so you don't miss anything. Perfect if you come as a couple, with friends or with the smallest of the family. Ah! This is an exclusive and luxurious ancient stone house/cave (maximum of 2 people), this cave according to some opinions was already inhabited since prehistoric times when there were in Europe elephants (mammoths), bison, rhinos, lions, etc.. Quinta das Sesmarias is located on the urban outskirts of Vila de Alcains, a 3.5-hectare property that maintains the rural characteristics of the early 20th century.
