Located on a farm in the heart of Amish country and amid one of the largest concentrations of antiques in America, we are central to many attractions, yet quaint and secluded enough to provide a relaxing retreat. The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

This one floor living layout, is ideal for anyone traveling through for an over night stay or need a quaint, quiet space for several months. The fire pit, open backyard, and large family room, with electric fireplace, make it very comfortable for a stay-in relaxing evening. We are located less than 12 miles from popular destinations such as Sight & Sound, Dutch Wonderland, Fulton Opera House, Downtown Lancaster, Tanger Outlets, Spooky Nook, the town of Lititz, the town of Intercourse, etc.

The Carriage House: Beautiful Farmland Views.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It has been completely redone and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with beautiful views. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

This 1 floor duplex home has 2 bedrooms, Wifi and TVs, bathroom with full sized washer, dryer and tub/shower combo, full kitchen with electric range, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, drip coffee maker, Keurig, electric water heater, toaster, dishes for 4, pots and pans, plus more! Its beautiful timber framework, high steel beams for suspension, and glass front makes for the perfect retreat. Come and stay in a cozy cottage with all the modern conveniences of home. This little house has 3 rooms that accommodates two guest comfortably. Two additional guests could stay on a pull out queen size sofa bed, however, this does make the space feel quite small.
