Absolutely fantastic location, with fantastic scenery nearby. Had some wonderful walks, literally behind the property. The BBQ area was fantastic like the hot tub. I can’t say much more, but I will be looking to return ASAP Matthew is a fantastic host and nothing seems to be too much of a problem. Loved the place, oh and the Highland cows are awesome.

We stayed here a few days in May. The Cottage is very remote, but you can reach the next village in arround 10 minutes by car. It offers great views of the surrounding area. the hot tub was amazing. Also the fireplace. we came to do some hikes and in the end decided to stay a whole day in the cottage, because it was so great.

Such a beautiful little get away with so many little hidden gems nearby! Was quiet 24/7 and we loved the peace and the amount of sun the garden and hot tub got. Such a cosy cottage and made us feel at home straight away, worth the drive! Thank you for a lovely stay ❤️

The house was wonderful - we were delighted with both the location and with the property. The house was immaculate, and beautifully furnished with some really lovely pictures and objects throughout. The rooms were all good-sized and bright with the kitchen/dining area overlooking the garden a real standout. It was very well maintained and it felt like a proper home from home. The location was really lovely too - nice and quiet with a very short walk to the beach. We particularly enjoyed our walks around the area and along to Chanonry Point to look for the dolphins. A local pub and a lovely restaurant were close by too which was a bonus! Our host, Eva, provided us with clear and concise information prior to our arrival and messaged us a couple of times during our stay to make sure that all was in order. This was very much appreciated. We would not hesitate to recommend the property to others, and we certainly plan to visit again!

Beautiful location - clear directions supplied by the host. Local pub serving good food within a 5 minute walk. Cottage itself was clean & within a quiet location. There is a hot tub in a separate building available at an extra cost - was also clean, ready to use with a plentiful supply of towels . Would recommend for a couple looking for a weekend away interested in walking or exploring the surrounding areas

We stayed here on our trip to the Scottish highlands, a wonderful place with incredible hosts! I really cannot recommend this enough, everything worked, there’s a hot tub and a sauna right in front and a magnificent garden that the owners walked us through.

Truly “off grid” in the literal sense! It runs on batteries and a generator!! Despite it not having wifi we all had great 4G so never felt truly disconnected thankfully. It’s such a private place with literally nobody for a square mile or more probably. I would say in the winter you will need a 4x4 to access as it’s a mile down a dirt track! Amazing place and can’t wait to revisit :)

We loved Taigh Neonach , it was a lovely cottage - it was beautifully decorated and a well appointed kitchen with a fridge and freezer compartment 👍😃 the bed was very comfortable and our dog settled into the cottage immediately. She particularly loved running around in the garden and as it was fenced we felt that she was perfectly safe. We had very friendly communication from Scott and Kirsty of MooseHoose Holidays and we would definitely recommend them as hosts. There was nothing we needed and they also added lovely touches of dog towels, biscuits, bowls and blankets much appreciated. We liked the porridge ,fruit, butter ,cheese and milk thank you.🤩 The shower was very good and the towels were fluffy. We would love to come back again. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We stayed three nights at this cozy place with our dog and felt very comfortable during the time, the house was very tidy and it is located in an absolutely calm area. It is a perfect location to visit Cairngorms Nationalpark and Loch Ness and one day we even visited the eastern parts and saw puffins. Would definitely recommend this place for everyone travelling Scotland.

We had a wonderful stay at Bluefolds for my Dad's 70th. The view from the property is spectacular and ever changing, and you'd never get bored of that alone! Sue was a wonderful host, very welcoming and proactive. The accommodation has everything you could need for a stay there. Take your walking boots, make sure your pets are treated for ticks (as its on a sheep farm), and have an incredible time :)

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at Bea’s cottage to attend the Gordon Castle Highland Games. Spotlessly clean and tidy on arrival. Very cosy cottage with a relaxed rustic feel. Great shower!! Large, secure pet friendly garden which our dog loved. Remember to bring apples or carrots to feed the lovely horses which come up to the fence! Elgin and shopping is approx 10mins away as is the fantastic Burghead beach, great for a long walk. Bea was always quick to respond to messages and the cottage was fantastic value for money for four of us. All in all, easy and relaxed stay for us, thank you Bea.

What a lovely cottage! The bed is particularly comfy and Michelle has made a special effort with decor and details to make you feel at home and cosy. There’s a beautiful garden at the back too and she was really friendly and accommodating and I felt happy that brown dog also felt at home. Thanks for a lovely stay. Matilda and brown dog x

Wow – what an absolutely stunning seaside getaway! This vacation home was everything we hoped for and more. It was incredibly comfortable, super relaxing, and just had the perfect vibe for a peaceful escape. We especially loved the beautiful kitchen – cooking there was a real treat – and the view from the first floor? Breathtaking! Waking up to that every day was pure magic. We had such a wonderful time and felt right at home. We’re already looking forward to coming back – without a doubt, we’ll be returning! Thank you for such a memorable stay! 🌊💛

Really lovely and well equipped little cottage in a beautiful area of the world. Very comfortable bed. The dogs loved the enclosed garden. Handy EV charger at the front. Caroline was very responsive. Highly recommended overall.

Beautiful cottage in a stunning location. The cottage was very well maintained, a welcoming atmosphere, warm and cosy. Very thoughtful touches, the fire was prepared in case we wanted to use it. Would definitely choose Shepherd Moon cottage again.

Kate ist eine aufmerksame und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist gemütlich und ruhig gelegen. Ideal zum entspannen aber auch zum Erkunden der abwechslungsreichen Umgebung. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt.

Really enjoyed our stay here. it was so peaceful and quiet.The views were beautiful. We saw plenty of wildlife and deer even came to visit. Very good base for exploring surrounding areas. The house itself was very comfortable and had everything you would need for a week’s stay. Thank you for all the extras, the cake was amazing. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Die Zeit im Cottage war unglaublich schön und entschleunigend. Wir haben jede Sekunde dort genossen. Peter war unglaublich hilftsbereit, total nett und hatte super Empfehlungen für unsere Zeit im Cottage. Das Cottage war total schön eingerichtet, gemütlich und alles war bedacht. Von der Wärmflasche, zum Feuerholz, guter Ausstattung in der Küche... Wir waren wirklich wunschlos glücklich und vermissen das Leben dort schon! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und haben uns ein Stück mehr in Schottland verliebt!

Heel gezellig en knus huis. Host was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Mooie en rustige omgeving met mooi uitzicht over het water als je uit het raam kijkt. Wij waren erg tevreden over het gehele verblijf.

Fabulous cottage a short walk from a pristine beach . Everything was spotlessly clean at the cottage, lovely garden which suited the dogs. The cottage has everything you would need, and the wonderful weather meant we could use the garden furniture and pizza oven.
