Apartment vacation rentals in Bristol

I had a great time in Higgishouse! The apartment makes perfect use of the space and is really comfy. As mentioned by others, it is not in an area that quiets down much during the night, but expecting that I brought earplugs and was absolutely fine :-). The location is great for exploring Bristol on foot. It’s only a 15 minute walk to the MShed and Princes Wharf area, and other museums and sight as well. Street art is waiting to be discovered literally immediately across the street and lots of great bars and restaurants are just a minute away.

Modern, clean, newly furnished and user friendly. I slept very, very well in this comfortable apartment. Apartment is found above tavern and within part of gated car park. Bed room, facing back yard, really quiet. Superb, convenient and calm location. Sarah and Andy are kind, helpful and professional. To those who are mindful of mobility issue: there are 18 outdoor iron stairs, and 12 indoor carpeted stairs before arriving at the apartment. Andy will help with bags if circumstances allow. Finally, excellent provision of fixtures and appliances, but one may need to bring, or buy certain consumables on arrival. Just go through the list of amenities provided beforehand, and check with Sarah if in doubt.

What an incredible stay! This apartment on the harbour in Bristol was everything I hoped for and more. Perfectly located on Gasworks Lane, it offers a rare combination of tranquility by the water and the vibrant pulse of the city just steps away. Waking up to views of the harbour and the sound of boats gently moving outside felt like a peaceful escape right in the middle of urban life. The flat itself is modern, spotless, and beautifully styled – clearly designed with both comfort and aesthetics in mind. From the plush bed to the fully equipped kitchen and thoughtful touches throughout, it had everything I needed to feel right at home. I especially loved enjoying a glass of wine by the large windows overlooking the water after a day exploring the city. The location is unbeatable – close to bars, restaurants, cafes, and all the energy of central Bristol, yet still peaceful and safe. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, this spot makes the perfect base.

Stacey's place is cosy and clean. it's very close to restaurants, bars and shops and around 20ish mins walk to the buzzing Harbourside. Basics things like teas, coffee, shampoo and conditioner available. Shower gel listed but as another review says, not provided. I suggested Tracey to update the listing to indicate to check if travelling by car if one needs to pay for the clean air zone as you will most likely enter this area when going to the apartment. We didn't know about this charge and were too quick to make the payment (£28) to then find out we didn't need to as our car meets the clean air criteria. The apartment is very quiet and we slept very well during the night. There is a key box for the apartment key but is kept in an awkward place in the communal understairs with bicycles hanging on the side and you have to bend down and mind your head when accessing it. I would definitely stay here again as it was nice.

I stayed at Callum's lovely top floor apt for a little over a week while visiting family in the area. It was cozy, comfortable and the decor was attractive. It had everything I needed; hair dryer, tea kettle, etc. The check-in was very smooth. I had a tiny difficulty figuring out how to turn on the heat, and Callum and Georgina were very responsive and helpful. I'd love to stay again when I'm back visiting the fam.😊

had a lovely stay nice and cozy having a sainsburys very close was great close to train station and a weatherspoons pub.about 20 min walk along canal into town loads to do there pubs,resturants,markets etc.i would recomend this flat 100%

We highly recommend staying at Kia's - the place is very centrally located, clean, and offers a beautiful view from the balcony. We feel right at home. Kia is an excellent host who is very responsive and helpful!

Norman was very communicative and friendly. The space itself, with its homey charm was a breath of fresh air compared to other more utilitarian corporate-like spaces. We look forward to staying at Norman’s place again. The area is fantastic. Definitely a thriving neighbourhood serving all your needs.

Great flat in a great location, close to cafes, bakeries and the fish and chip shop. Short walk to more of the same and very close to city centre. We were visiting our daughter in Chandos Road so this couldn’t have served the purpose better…and the sun shone!

Nice spacious flat with comfortable beds, nice decor, and a short walk to a park with a great coffee and pastry spot. Friendly neighborhood. Very short walk to bus stop. Lots of steps since the building is on a hill and the flat is up high. No problem for us - we loved the views and the quiet - but could be tricky if you have any kind of physical issues.

Great location for easy access in to Bristol. Nice size apartment and accurately described and advertised. What stood out is how well equipped the kitchen was with equipment and basics. Well equipped for a baby, with a cot and highchair and washing machine available as well.

The flat is in an excellent position close to the heart of a stylish part of Bristol with parking just outside. It was also spacious for our family get-togethers over the Xmas period. The log fire was a plus! Liv & Jem are very welcoming & responsive to any needs, such as extra glasses etc. Much appreciated!

I really enjoyed my stay in this lovely haven, just up the hill from lively Stokes Croft. The location is a great base for exploring Bristol from, with most places being walkable and easy access to buses. Nicole and Jo were great, communicative hosts. The flat itself was stylish and comfortable and I would very happily return.

Beautiful place for a much needed escape and relaxing getaway. The hosts were great and only a message away. The container was spotless, fully equipped and the view was incredible. Will definitely be returning x

Our short stay at Jon & Laura's was perfect. We loved the patio with comfortable garden furniture, for tea outside on arrival and for a leisurely breakfast. The pristine bathroom was a joy to use. Jon's information on the local area was well-received... we enjoyed our evening 50 minute walk to a pub for food & drink and our morning visit to The Gloucester Quays. (We also won our Tennis match!)

Stylish, comfortable, homely accommodation in a fantastic location. The appartment was perfectly equipped for self catering including the provision of useful provisions like teas and coffees. The bedrooms were very comfortable and peace. The welcome flowers were a nice touch especially as it was my travelling companion’s birthday 💐🎂

One of the best places my wife and I have ever stayed on Airbnb. What a find! Immaculate, high quality fixtures and fittings - those staying are in for a fun surprise when using lavatory and bed lol :) The hot tub was the perfect temperature for relaxing (easy instructions). Location wise within easy walking distance of some nice places to eat plus the nearby train station - Bristol is then only 10mins away by rail and an interesting/picturesque place to explore (be aware the ticket purchasing machine at Heynsham isn't obvious but is on the other side of the platform). Once in Bristol, would recommend using Uber to nip up to Clifton (beautiful architecture inc. Suspension Bridge plus more fab places to eat). Our long weekend ended with an easy drive up to and walk around the lovely Westonburt Orboretum. Julie thanks for an amazing stay, the little touches that make all the difference and all your recommendations. We shall be back!

My husband and I came here on a family getaway with my elderly parents. Extra instructions on how to find the property made it easy to get to. The property is in a quiet area and reasonably secluded with stunning views over the hills where deer and rabbits run wild. Although described as a flat it is more like a house type home ( there was someone in the upstairs flat but we hardly heard them and they were very quiet ). Every morning we were lucky enough to sit outside in the garden with the sun shining to drink our tea & coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped and we had a lovely BBQ too on our last evening. The flat is beautifully decorated with lots quirky touches, comfortable beds and comfy sofa to chill out on. The hot tub was ready when we arrived and was much appreciated every night after long days out touring the Cotswolds. ( We can also recommend The plough at Fork for friendly service and great food ) ! We had a fab time and we were sorry to leave .

Quality furnishings and super warm welcoming vibe to the apartment. My partner and I felt at home and relaxed during our stay. The only tiny thing would be we struggled to eat meals as there’s no table and chairs in the apartment. Apart from this we really enjoyed our stay.
