Beautiful location. Great for viewing the millions of stars at night. Make sure to grab groceries and gas before arriving to the house as there is nothing around there. The town of Terlingua is about a 45 min drive from the home so keep this in mind when planning meals or activities. The beautiful surroundings is what makes this home a gem. It’s so remote and offers so much peace and silence. Highly recommend

This Airbnb was dog friendly. I’ve stayed in other Airbnbs where theirs been doors scratch from dogs or a lingering smell of a dog’s presence. Not at Manuel’s place it was clean and right for my family and our family dog. Bedding was clean and towels were crisp white which I can appreciate. The views were awesome. Definitely a 10/10.

My family of three shared Jessica’s place with my brother and sister in-law’s family of four and in the words of my sister-law, “This was the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had!” The location was walkable (even for tiny legs) to all the stores and eateries. The house had plenty of space for family game night, cookouts, and even a laundry room for after swimming at Balmorhea. The split floor plan was excellent to give each family privacy and my baby wouldn’t wake the whole house up in the middle of the night. I must also include we got on the road early and energized because we weren’t running around ragged with a lot of check out procedures and cleaning. Leaving was so quick and simple! Jessica’s place is a STEAL OF A DEAL and an Airbnb dream.

The home in Marathon was a perfect base for exploring the Big Bend area. Spenser was proactive in providing Indio the rental and the area and he was quick responding to any questions we had.

Absolutely amazing place! This was a wonderful Experience for me and my family. I’m so happy with the home, the location and the communication. I hope to return again!!!

The Paisano Azul Ranch was a peaceful place. It was so quiet and no light in sight. It was a great gateway from our busy city lifestyle. We didnt spent much time there due to the adventures we did at Big Bend National Park but we made the most of it in the evening drinking a cold one and having dinner under the dark beautiful skies. We will definitely stay there again.

This rental was perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Great place for a reasonable price.

This place is AMAZING! Just outside of Alpine and the stargazing is superb. Will is a fantastic host and was very flexible and responsive. They graciously allow dogs which was a huge bonus for us, PLUS a fenced in backyard! The property is beautiful and we had plenty of privacy. The home itself was perfectly clean when we arrived and we had everything we needed! I plan on staying here again in the future, thank you so much Will!!

Nick was very communicative with his directions and local recommendations. The place was set up nicely and we enjoyed our stay. If you’re headed to big bend, don’t miss out on the opportunity to stay out on the ranch.

Excellent place if you are trying to stay away from all the chaos

The Earthbag home was absolutely incredible! Jamie did a phenomenal job creating this off-grid paradise. It was so well laid out, with walking paths, plenty of outdoor areas to hang out & star gaze. The views here were incredible from sunrise to sunset the views were breathtaking. I even enjoyed the private view from the outdoor shower! Jamie was extremely communicative & detailed with instructions which made it easy to navigate. We would absolutely stay here again!

Was wonderful staying at Madeleine’s wonderful home!! It is extremely spacious and charming! It is so private, beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed every minute of it! Would love to stay again! :)

Such a perfect, sweet, clean spot! Second time returning for my birthday here & very happy with our stay. Unfortunately, the pool broke for a day, but the hosts were very responsive & kind & hopped right over to fix it. We would recommend this airbnb because of the views, privacy, and amenities. It was truly an enjoyable stay knowing that we got to come home to a clean and spacious home.

Great place to stay-like being at home. Used Marathon as our base for visiting Big Bend and this was the perfect place. We would spend the late afternoons hanging out on the porch watching the birds and playing board games-fun times. The house its self is awesome. We love places with character and this house has character. The decor is great-you know you are in West Texas. Lots of books about local history and of course Big Bend. We cooked in several nights and the kitchen was perfect. Beds are super comfortable which is always important. Homey living room to hangout and lots of tables for dining. And-great AC. It is a short walk to the Gage and we highly recommend this home. We will be back.

Very comfortable, roomy and impeccably clean accommodations in a beautiful part of the country. Russell is a great and thoughtful host.

We were so happy with this place. Gladys (Wally) really thought of everything. Her amenity description listed more than just the basics, but we didn't need to use ANY of the cooking supplies we had brought because they were all provided. I mean....every last detail was covered. The WiFi was unexpectedly great. We did not have a single issue, but if we had, Rick and Wally live close by. The indoor space was cute and comfortable and the outdoor space was set up for anything you'd like to do. We grilled steaks, we stargazed, we watched sunrises and sunsets while drinking coffee and wine. We even ate dinner out on the porch because breeze created a comfortable climate. It was a short drive into Terlingua and an easy drive into Big Bend National Park. We hope to come back to this area again, and we will most definitely stay here again. 10/10 Highly recommend!

This was our second time staying here for our Big Bend family vacation. We will only ever stay here when we come to the area. Every single amenity you could want and the most thoughtful extra touches to make it an incredible stay. The addition of the outdoor fireplace gathering area was fantastic. You will not find a better place to stay if you're going to be visiting within two hours of the area. Theresa is always super responsive, proactively communicates and has the best of the best setup. All of the beds are comfortable, lots of extra sheets, pillows, blankets, etc. Seriously. Book this house.

Matt responds quickly to messages. His property was perfect -- entirely remote, with complete darkness for stargazing, and a lot of land to explore and camp on. Definitely better than other sites in or around the parks.

Great space for a family with kids, or a group of families traveling together. The porch was a wonderful spot to sit and visit at the end of the day as the sun was setting.

Everything was great, located little uphill. Isolated and perfect for private stargazing. Washroom and showers were quite clean and maintained daily. Restaurants at walkable distance, although places close quite early so plan accordingly. The solar battery backup might be flaky so make sure to have enough power backup for atleast keeping your phones charged. Surprisingly the place has excellent mobile coverage compared to other places in the town. Would definitely recommend and Marc is a perfect host for the place!
