Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Brevard

What a beautiful and relaxing place to go. A true hikers treehouse to escape to and unwind.

We had a lovely stay - the place is so cute, clean, and has everything. I truly felt like I was going into a spa, it smelled clean and fresh plus had fun amenities. Would love to go back!

I very rarely give 5 stars for a property, as most hosts these days have no attention to detail. Lisa's place is the exception! The house was clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked. The deck, firepit (with firewood), and bike storage are great features. This house would be ideal for a family of four or five, but it would probably be tight for two families given that the bedrooms are small.

Matthew’s property was just right for us. The yard is huge and was awesome for our dog and 2-year-old. Toddlers need to be supervised, of course, due to the fire pit and some big steps, but he loved exploring and the yard was clean. It was peaceful to sit back there and enjoy the privacy. The hot tub was so clean and it was nice to relax and look at some stars. The neighborhood is very quiet and we loved that there are multiple business within easy walking distance (don’t need to go downtown) including coffee, breakfast, and ice cream! It’s only 3-4 minutes by car to get to downtown. House is well kept up but not fancy, which I prefer honestly- I felt comfortable there and wasn’t worried that my kiddo would mess anything up. We used the king bed and slept well. Curtains plus blinds helped keep the rooms darker, but we needed one additional layer to be dark enough for our toddler. Some toy blocks and games were a nice surprise. Thanks Matthew for a comfy stay in Brevard!

What a cool mountain hideaway! The location was convenient to town, as well as to hiking, mountain biking and fishing. The house itself is roomy and comfy but our favorite hang-out spot was the outside area, with its covered seating area, fireplace AND fire pit (and wood-fired pizza oven!). There's also a little wood stove on the covered porch, another wood stove in the "parlor" area of the living room and even a gas fireplace. If you like sitting by the fire, this is the place for you! Alas, a bit too warm during our late-spring stay for fires. We heard neighbors a couple times but otherwise it was almost eerily quiet up there. The hosts were super communicative and helped ensure check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. Next time I'm back in the Brevard area this will be my first choice for home base. Five stars all the way!

The Byrd Box is a delightful cottage in a serene location, stocked with all the amenities you could want for a delightful stay. Rebekah is friendly and goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Hendersonville is a small town with a wonderful Main St (not too common today), with restaurants and shops aplenty - just a short drive away. There is a new bike path very close to the cottage.

We loved staying here! It was beautiful, clean, and had all the little extras that made our stay feel like home! Drew was amazing about touching base with us and he always responded very quickly if we had a question. This is by far the nicest place we’ve stayed in Brevard and we hope to stay there again on our next visit!

Dylan’s home was exactly how it was described. There was lots of natural light and was very comfortable. We enjoyed the coffee machine and all the amenities. The robes and toiletries were a nice touch. Dylan was very responsive and friendly. We would definitely recommend staying at the hutch!

We spent 3 days at Dawn and Ron’s Asheville home. Their space was very clean, smelled nice, and had every convenience you could possibly need. Unfortunately it was rainy during our trip so we didn’t take advantage of the outdoor amenities like the patio/grill or the goats, but they did greet us with wagging tails as we came and went! Loved the waffle bar and complimentary coffee - such nice touches that made breakfast a breeze! Also loved that they provided toiletries and washer/dryer. This space provided all the comforts of home, about 15 minutes to all the AVL activities. Dawn and Ron were very communicative and kind hosts. Would recommend their home to anyone!

Mountain View was the perfect place to end our days while visiting Brevard. Lynda & Bob were very friendly & responsive to any questions. The beds were very comfortable & the amenities were very nice. The view was great & it was very peaceful during our stay. Thanks Lynda & Bob for a great stay.

We loved our stay here! The studio was just as advertised and easy to find. The kitchen was clean and had everything we needed to do our own cooking for the week. They provided enough soap and such for us to get started and we only really had to bring more toilet paper. Otherwise everything was there that we needed. We loved the games that they had there for us to use and the snacks were perfect too. We will definitely be looking at staying here again.

Kathy is an amazing host, and the accommodations are exactly like the photos. We enjoyed our stay so much we requested to extend another night! Very welcoming peaceful surroundings. Gorgeous stone FP and kitchen backsplash. Decorated beautifully. The bed was very comfortable, and the bath towels were excellent. We had everything we needed. Our dog was welcomed with treats and a dog toy. We would recommend this property to anyone wishing to be close to Brevard and the surrounding areas. We will stay again when in the neighborhood. Sweet upstairs unit surrounded by lovely greenery. Easy check in experience with easy going hosts that like to accommodate. Close to downtown Weaverville but down a lovely dead end road with very little traffic and pastoral views.

Lynn's place was perfect for our family. The backyard is gorgeous and the view is truly incredible. Lynn went above and beyond as a host to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Asheville.

We had a wonderful stay in Asheville, and we're very comfortable in this peaceful setting. Kelle and Max have created a beautiful space to stay. It's very clean, well equipped, and all directions and instructions clear and helpful. Kelle is a famous communicator, and quick to respond. Many thanks to them for providing a space that enhanced our travel experience! I will be recommending this place to friends!

Our family is always grateful to stay at Mary Ann's beautiful property! We've stayed here multiple times now and hope to continue to do so whenever our travels take us through the Asheville area. This property is truly a gem - peaceful, beautiful mountain view, a tree swing, lots of greenspace for the kiddos to run around outside after long car rides, comfortable big beds, a lovely bathroom, cozy living room and lots of much appreciated extras in the kitchen like KCups and creamers, pop tarts, waffles, water and juice. And if you ever need anything, Mary Ann is super responsive. It truly feels like a respite for us along long family trips, like getting to stop at a home away from home. We love this special place! This was a really nice cabin to stay in with fantastic proximity to Hendersonville, tons of restaurants and shops. The outdoor space was lovely and we made good use of the fire pit! Really loved the bathroom space and the shower was very nice and clean!

Jaclyn’s place was gorgeous. It was exactly as described—spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The view is spectacular. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. The cozy living area made it feel like a home away from home. The host was very communicative and gracious. I would highly recommend the wonderful home.

Beautiful quiet retreat space. Host was very informative with instructions on getting to the location and where to find the amenities. It’s a must stay.

The house is a very cute out in the mountains! The creek in the backyard and the sauna are easily the highlights!

My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quaint cabin! The hot tub was such a nice treat for us. Everything went smoothly with checking in. Love that the place felt secluded and we could see the stars clearly at night!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Dupont State Forest Getaway. The cabin is spotless and tastefully decorated. It's super quiet and the surrounding scenery (which is easily enjoyed by looking out one of the many large windows or from a hammock outside) is so beautiful. We loved the proximity to Dupont State Forest and the hiking recommendations that Brian provided. We can't wait to come back!

We had the very best time. Loved the porch, the bathtub, the chickens, the dog! Clean and cozy and everything we had hoped for.

This space was a great place to unwind and just be. Also so close to other activities if you choose. Richard was a wonderful host. We can’t wait to experience this awesome environment again.
