Cottage vacation rentals in Brecon Beacons

Mez’s farmhouse was absolutely beautiful, the location and the views were stunning. There’s plenty to see nature wise, lots of beautiful animals to see and peaceful walks to take! The actual farm house was exactly like the pictures and super spacious. Comes with everything you could need and mez was super helpful, he helped with pretty much everything! He explained everything to us and gave us recommendations for everything we asked about. Best air bnb stay I’ve had !!

We had an amazing stay at the cottage. The house was just perfect, the hot tub was divine and the only neighbours we saw were the 2 lovely horses, Saffy and Angel.

Lovely stay, stunning gardens - would have been good to know there are other holiday lets immediately next to the property the listing does give the impression it’s totally isolated but thankfully there were no guests in the other houses while we were there.

Bens place is a lovely space for two people set in a peaceful setting. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed is super comfy! It’s a little more worn than in the pics, but it didn’t bother us at all. Everything was clean and tidy and as we hoped it would be. While attached to another property, it feels very private and secluded too. We didn’t use the hot tub or wood burner but they are nice touches especially for winter. We booked because we had a wedding near by and it suited us perfectly. Ben was also super responsive which we appreciated.

Jamie & Dan are very fortunate to have this beautiful property. It is the ideal country location for escaping away and distancing yourself from our increasingly busy lives. The gardens around the property are stunning, the views are incredible and the local area is amazing to explore on foot, bike or by car. We had an amazing stay and would happily return, and have already started to recommend to friends & family

This place is so lovely! Host Meng was so kind, even putting some beautiful flowers in the cottage for my birthday ❤️ the view is spectacular, it's one of the most peaceful places I've been. Hot tub is great fun, the kitchen has got everything you need including washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. The bed was comfy, plug sockets everywhere you'd want them and usb sockets. It was great to see how dog friendly the place is with throws for the couch, fenced garden and fixed stairs gates. I highly advise popping into Jolter Press Cider bar/shop and getting some food from the local Chinese takeaway. Also a walk to St Anthony's Well, there's some step incline/declines on the walk there but it's beautiful and you have to take a dip! We also went to the Three Choirs Vineyard that was beautiful and good fun too. I would definitely come back and I think it would be equally beautiful in any season, our summer trip was fantastic but I'd love to see it in autumn or winter too.

Amazing stay at the Yarlington Dairy. The cottage was stunning and had everything you needed. The views were magnificent and the cider was also lush! Laura was a wonderful host, super friendly and very responsive. Thank you for a great stay celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary! 🤩 x

Will be coming back for winter break! Joshua and Hannah was fabulous host. Made good use of the space, no issues. Was a great stay.

We have just returned from a weekend at this property. It’s absolutely beautiful and was the perfect base. The house is so well kept and the views are stunning. Cannot recommend enough! Will definitely be back :)

A lovely back to basics cottage in a superb location. Communication with Sara and Tom was fantastic and they dealt with our couple of queries promptly. Very peaceful and nice to get away from modern life for a couple of nights.

Have had the most relaxing stay in this beautiful little cottage. It had everything we needed and more and the welcome hamper was lovely, the Welsh cakes and jam did not last long ! Comfy beds, perfect setting, always able to park and i loved the wooden shutters. A great find, will definitely revisit . Thank you Sam x

Julia's airbnb is compact for a 2 bed let but beautifully organised and very clean with all the facilities you will need. Llanattock is a lovely village and the local pub was very welcoming. A lovely place to visit. Thank you

Beautifully decorated cottage which was spotlessly clean. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Very spacious cottage with all equipment we needed for cooking. Matthew was very responsive when we wanted to light the fire one evening. We absolutely loved the location, with walking, cycling and activities close by (canyoning and zip wires) The New Inn is metres away and was very welcoming with super tasty food We’ll be back! We had a fantastic week at Aberdar. The weather was amazing all week, so we spent our time outside enjoying the garden, orchard and stream, and sitting at the various seating areas to avoid the wind if it got too strong. We only made 3 trips away from Aberdar.. a stunning part of Wales and it was hard to put the camera down. A pleasure to drive on the pothole free roads and we hardly saw anyone apart from friendly farmers. Our anxious rescue dog was very happy enjoying the space and he was relaxed all week, as were we. Aberdar has it all.. very clean and homely, very well equipped with everything we needed, useful information file provided for guests, beautiful views and loved hearing the sheep, cows and stream. If you are tall, remember to duck when going through the doorways.. we kept forgetting! This was a very special trip for us and we will be returning!

We loved Kathy's place. It was a perfect location, light and airy, comfortable, well equipped and clean. My only comment would be the single bed would probably work better for a child than an adult - otherwise it was perfect. Kathy was helpful and quick to respond.

Lovely clean spacious with great choice of bed linen. Soak and sleep white cotton. Comfortable beds. Great shower downstairs. I didn’t use the upstairs one to say. Well stocked kitchen Lovely coffee machine Peaceful with good outdoor space.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Cliffs! He and Emma were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We appreciated all the rooms and bathrooms in each room. Our little one loved the horses across the street and we loved being able to walk to the local pub. Cliff made check out a breeze and gave us some great recommendations for our continued travels. This is a great spot for big families or a group traveling together! We would definitely recommend to friends and family traveling in the area.

Lovely cottage in the Welsh countryside! Soooo cosy, clean and everything you need to feel at home. Perfect starting point for exploring the beautiful Welsh landscape! Communication with Emma and her husband has always been easy and helpful!

What a lovely place to stay. Very cosy cottage, with surprisingly good bathroom and facilities. Location is wonderful. Plenty of nice walks, with a good variety of scenery and a few nice stops along the way. Equally, if you're not looking for an active break, could easily sit in the garden all day, admiring the beautiful views and listening to all the birds. Helena and Hilary were warm and welcoming, but also gave plenty of space, privacy and freedom to enjoy. Would definitely recommend.

Clare's cottage was perfect for our stay. It was very comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. The location is just fantastic for exploring the wonderful valley with all it's natural wonder, and coming home to a warm fire was great.

A fantastic hideaway, tucked into a quiet lane but centrally located for all the sights you may want to visit. A perfect location to access to the Brecons and easy walking distance to the local pub. Cottage was clean, tidy and had all the amenities that you need. Great instructions and communications from the host. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

Loved staying at Arch Cottage. Easy to get to and a great base for exploring the area. Despite being on the main road, you barely notice it once you’re inside. Sue was a great host. Will definitely stay again!

Fantastic accommodation in a central (but quiet) location, just a few minutes walk from the cathedral, shops and restaurants. The accommodation was perfect, very clean and had everything that we needed for a 5-night stay in Brecon. The owner bought a lovely loaf of bread and milk and butter were in the fridge. I will definitely be back and highly recommend

Absolutely stunning spot, surrounded by countryside, peaceful apart from beautiful birdsong. Everything we needed to cook at home. Easy to access walks directly from the cottage. Thank you Catherine and Pat for hosting us!
