Nordic Tides Retreat Sauna & Spa

EmmaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The property is truly amazing! The views were spectacular, the host was very friendly and quick to respond, and everything was very clean. We had a group of 12 and had plenty of space. The hot tub and sauna are wonderful additions and added to our experience. Alicia is a superb host and I highly recommend staying here.

Mallard on Church Lake Accessible Lakefront AFrame

Les TylerRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay at Mallard at Church Lake was fantastic! The A-frame design is stunning with beautiful decor throughout. The kitchen setup was perfect, and we loved using the outdoor grill for lakeside meals. As birding enthusiasts, we added many new species to our Life List and learned fascinating details about mallard duck behavior and life cycles. The location is a nature lover's dream. What really set this property apart were the excellent accessibility features (wheelchair ramp, no-threshold shower, seamless floor transitions, etc., which accommodated our disabilities. The hosts were communicative before and during our stay, making everything seamless. We enjoyed canoeing and paddleboarding during the day and incredible stargazing at night under clear skies. This property offers the perfect blend of comfort, accessibility, and natural beauty. We'd absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to other travellers, especially those needing accessible accommodations!

Beautiful location, lovely cottage. Great views. Everything one needs to be self sufficient. Lovely deck and views are amazing. Was able to get my toes in the sand and test the waters. Graeme stopped by and introduced himself and made sure I was comfortable and encouraged us to explore the area. Very kind and friendly!

Vista Del Mar 596

DilbertRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Raquel’s place, “Vista Del Mar,” is absolutely gorgeous!! The open concept of the main level allows for guests to dine and intermingle while enjoying the picturesque view of St. Margaret’s Bay. Raquel was quick to respond to messages and was a pleasure to talk to! A short scenic drive to Peggy’s Cove and Halifax. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone travelling to Nova Scotia. Thank you Raquel for having our group at your place!

We loved our stay at Rebecca’s home! It felt very welcoming as soon as walked in. Beautiful view from the porch/hot tub, lots of space to relax and spread out as well as to gather and enjoy the space together. It was a great location to be able to explore so much of the surrounding areas including beaches, cute coastal towns, hiking, wineries, city life, and great food. Would definitely love to stay again!

Kaben on the Arm - Soak Under the Stars

AnnaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Loved my stay at the Kabin! The location is perfect-quiet, waterfront, close to Halifax center but not busy. Especially easy with a rental car. The space is beautiful, comfortable and serene. So many lovely touches! I still can’t get over the floor to ceiling (high ceiling) linen drapes. Beautiful. You’ll love it. I hope to be back.

Palmer Cottage

IleaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Palmer's Cottage is a lovely place to spend a quiet, relaxing holiday, close to nature and the outdoors but also close enough to visit Halifax for an evening out. Lots of activities (beach, bicycle, walking) steps from the front door. The cottage is comfortable with a truly "fully-equipped" kitchen, for those who like to cook. Steve is a great host, responsive to questions, available to help when needed but always respectful of his guest's privacy.

Seafarers Hideaway

KenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay at Seafarers Hideaway was a truly memorable experience. The property has one of the most beautiful views we have ever encountered and it is extremely well appointed. They have thought of everything guests will need to have an enjoyable stay. The kitchen and pantry are very well stocked as well as the bathroom. We absolutely loved the fireplace and enjoyed most evenings by the fire. When weather permitted we enjoyed the outdoor fire area and used the bbq most nights. The muskoka chairs are perfectly situated on various parts of the property and we enjoyed looking at Peggy’s Cove with the binoculars provided. We would highly recommend this property as it is an hours drive to Halifax, Lunenberg and Peggy’s Cove, with much of the drive along the ocean. We would love to return someday and treasure our first experience in Nova Scotia at Seafarers Hideaway. Krista and Ken
