Lovely village house, East Pyrenees

This quaint village house is located high up in the pretty hillside village of Rodes. Rodes rests in the Languedoc Roussillon/Pyrenees-Orientales region of France where Mount Canigou dominates the skyline. A 30 minute drive takes you to Perpignan and the stunning Mediterranean coast. The house has breath taking views of Mount Canigou from the rooftop terrace and can comfortably sleep up to 4 persons. It has a private garage, free WIFI and two bikes available for guests to use. On the ground floor is the walk through garage and a utility area with a washing machine. The two bedrooms are on the first floor. The 2nd floor offers open plan living with a fully equipped kitchen and an area for relaxing and eating. From here you access the sunny outdoor terrace and the mezzanine bathroom. The house and the area are perfect for a relaxing get away from it all holiday. Nearby is a village shop and easy access to the main road between Perpignan and Andorra. The village of Vinca is within walking distance and you can swim, relax and sunbathe on the shores of the crystal clear lake. Maison Mimosa is located in an exceptionally picturesque area ideal for walking and mountain biking as well as a visit to the world reknowned hot springs at Thomas Les Bains. During the winter season, the nearest slopes are just a 45 minute drive away. The 50 euros rate per night is negotiable dependent on number of guests, number if nights booked and the season. Situé prés d'un charmant petit village très ensoleillé, sur la route de l'Andorre, ce gîte climatisé vous propose un accès direct a de nombreux chemins de randonnées, tout en étant à 1H de la haute montagne et 1 h de la mer .Pour quelques jours ou juste une nuit la ferme vous accueille .Le lac de vinça est tout prés. Nous signalons que l'accès est un chemin non goudronné (800m) avec un gué a traverser ( le gué est actuellement sec).NE PAS SUIVRE LE GPS !!!! pour accéder, merci de téléphoner.

Just returned from an amazing week staying at David’s beautiful Villa, great hosts, everything you need is provided and even went the extra mile emailing over some excellent useful guides about the villa and the local area👍The place was so nice, far bigger than I anticipated and in a wonderful location for exploring the local area, we will definitely be returning for a another visit in the near future. 👌🏻

L’appartement de Francis est absolument magnifique, bien plus que ne le montrent les photos ! Décoré avec beaucoup de goût, c’est un espace très agréable à vivre. Le cadre avec la petite terrasse est un vrai plus. Francis a aussi été très réactif et arrangeant, nous y reviendrions avec plaisir !

Maison plus belle encore que sur les photos. terrasse avec peu de vis-à-vis et donnant sur une ruelle avec très peu de passage. Hôte qui a eu beaucoup de patience lors de notre arrivée maintes fois retardée par les embouteillages. une très belle adresse dans les Pyrénées orientales.
