We and our two puppies throughly enjoyed our weekend away at the Old Copper Shed. The farm was peaceful, quiet with amazing sunrises and sunsets. The unique copper aesthetic was one to remember and I would highly recommend the stay to anyone looking for a little sho’t left on the weekend. Bring your pets with as ours loved the freedom of the open veld. Thank you to Adriaan for the great hospitality.

What a beautiful place to stay! I was there for 6 weeks and honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The space is even more lovely in person. It was always spotless, well-maintained, and had everything I needed. The host was consistently accommodating and responsive, which made my stay even more comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home, cozy, welcoming, and perfect for both short and long-term stays. I was very impressed and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful home, exactly how it looks on the pictures. It has anything you could possibly need, and cute thoughtful amenities eg. A cosmetics box which I thought was a cute touch. Very private and quiet neighbourhood, and close to garage and shops. I wish my stay was a bit longer than a night. When I’m back in Free State, I’m definitely booking with Petrie again!
