COTC: Log Cabin Glamping

The Cabin on the Coulee is a lovely two story rustic log cabin on a complete section of land (640 acres - 250 ha) that overlooks a 200 acre Alberta coulee, making for an amazing view! It rents as a complete unit that sleeps up to 6 adults with a full bath on the main floor and a half bath upstairs. The cabin has a full sized refrigerator, range, a full kitchen (including dishes, cutlery and cookware), a propane gas BBQ, a wood stove, outdoor fire pits, high speed WiFi and a projector for movies.

John Jensen, a Danish engineer / bricklayer designed our wonderful castle with his family in the 70's. We've modernized and renovated the entire building to make it as comfortable as possible. Enjoy a retreat to the country! The Snuggle Inn is a cozy 96 sq.ft. cottage with a rustic country theme. Complete with a woodstove and kitchenette where you can prep meals from local ingredients! Located on a small farm where we raise livestock and fresh produce. Experience the sights and sounds of a farm, like baby animals playing, a rooster crowing, and quiet country sunsets. *Please note: during winter the animals are tucked away at their offsite location and return in the spring!

BBQ, outdoor seating. For cool or too hot days, we have a projector screen with DVD player and Xbox, ping pong table, air hockey and lots of games. Just a short walk to the beach, Snak Shack for treats, disc golf course (frisbee golf), tennis/pickle ball courts, brand new playground.

Powered by solar, this site features an indoor wood-burning stove, outdoor picnic bench, gas barbecue, outhouse with an outdoor shower, and outdoor firepit in a huge back yard. A double bed and pull-out futon make this an ideal stay for up to 4 guests.
