Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Bosphorus

Apartments are beautiful, large, and in a great location - we really loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to friends! Things to know: the two floors are totally separate apartments; they are pretty anonymous rental flats in terms of what to expect in the kitchen; we experienced some cultural differences around checkout and other communication, but no major issues; the offered airport pickup required that we wait around the airport for about 40 minutes but was otherwise easy

This was our second time staying at the little white house, and it was just as wonderful as the first! The home was spotless, spacious, and perfect for our family reunion — we felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. The neighborhood is beautiful and full of charm, with plenty of great cafes, bars, and shops nearby, and the Bosphorus just a short walk away. Suha and his team are incredibly kind and responsive, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The value for what you get is truly impeccable. We had a fantastic time and would love to come back again in the future. Thank you again for being such a thoughtful host.

We visited as a family with two small kids and had a fantastic 5-day stay. The neighborhood is vibrant, authentic, and full of heart, with great shops and restaurants to explore daily. The house was spacious — more than we needed, as we didn’t use the downstairs apartment — but very comfortable, especially for the kids. Getting around was easy with the Istanbulkart; tram line 5 and bus 55 are just a short walk away. We cooked a few times and found the kitchen workable (cooking with gas), though some utensils were a bit worn and basic items like salt and pepper would’ve been helpful. Still, these were minor things. We’d happily return to Balat and to Ömer’s house. To really enjoy it, I’d recommend staying at least 4–5 days.

If you plan to visit the historic sites in Istanbul, Giorgio’s place should be first on your list of places to look at. Located within walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, the Palace, the Grand Bazaar and more, Giorgio’s apartment was an ideal spot for what we wanted to see in Istanbul. The apartment was clean, the bedrooms spacious and the hosts were super responsive. Communication was quick and helpful. The airport transfers for three day stays and longer made check in a breeze. And Giorgio arranged for return transfers to the airport (for a fee). This made checking out a breeze. There is a fantastic restaurant 10 meters from the front door (Begonville Cafe) where the workers treat you like family. Overall, our visit to Istanbul was stress free in part due to Giorgio’s apartment. We had a great experience and would recommend anyone to stay at Giorgio’s place.

Great place, really nice neighborhood and Moussaab is very helpful. It's a tight place for eight people but workable and great value for money.

The listing was exactly as described, and we were so impressed that we decided to extend our stay. The area is conveniently located within walking distance of popular attractions like the Galata Tour, Galata Port, and the Egyptian Spice Market. Moreover, the neighborhood boasts a vibrant food scene that offers a wide variety of culinary delights. However, it’s worth noting that the area has several steep hills, so it’s advisable to pack light and comfortable footwear for your exploration.

Mr. Ahmet's interest was definitely at a high level. The location of the house may really be one of the best places you can find in Istanbul. We enjoyed a pristine house and a wonderful garden. We will definitely choose it again

The place is very tidy and clean—qualities that are of the utmost importance to me. The hosts Emir and Yasemin are really quick to help whenever you need assistance, and they’re super friendly, often greeting you on your way out of the building if they’re around. The apartment is exactly as advertised in the pictures—modern and cozy. The location is excellent in that access to metro and buses is only a 5-10 minute walk away. Additionally, there are nice cafes right nearby where you can work on your laptop or read a book; check out MOC cafe—nice vibes. Overall, a very comfortable and memorable experience—thank you!

Fantastic apartment. Can’t beat the location! Murat was super friendly, met us downstairs and made sure everything was ok before leaving. Couldn’t recommend it enough. The street gets busy during the day as it leads straight to Galata Tower but from the bedroom you don’t hear any noise and can sleep peacefully. 10/10

Great place to stay, I can only recommend it! Very close to the center, public transport, but if you like to walk a little, you can reach the main attractions on foot within 1 hour. The apartment is clean, it matches the description. In the staircase, you can easily climb 108 steps, even with a 20 kg suitcase. Cihan is very kind, helpful, responds to every message almost immediately! The bed mattress is very comfortable, we slept very well in it. The washer and dryer were very useful and we also used the water filter regularly. On weekends, there are parties in the buildings opposite, but by closing the windows, the sound can be minimized and the noise disappears at 2 a.m. If I had to mention a negative, I would mention the creaking of the bed frame and the little storage space. The mattress of the bed is very good, but if you move, it squeaks a lot. Unfortunately, there was only one drawer where we could put some of our clothes. But these problems are negligible!

Great apartment with a beautiful view! We could even watch a local soccer match at the nearby stadium through the window. Very walkable location to restaurants around Taksim, but not super close to the metro or trolley stops (~20-30 min walking). The nearest bus stops are about a 6-10 min walk away and can be a little tricky to figure out, but Google Maps is (mostly) helpful for figuring out schedules and routes. The apartment was comfortable, and we were grateful to have a washing machine, though we had to bring our own detergent. The bed was a little stiff for our preferences but felt standard for the region, and others might like it. Overall, I'd recommend staying here as long as you don't mind walking and navigating bus transit!

Great place to stay! Wonderful location, very close to public transportation, lots to do. Very clean, spacious and roomy apartment. Very comfortable sleeping. The AC was a bonus. Great view from the balcony, very safe building.

Lovely district with many good bars and restaurants. Very clean flat with comfortable bed and sofa in the living room. Great view from the roof terrace. A fantastic option in Cihangir district.

We had a great time in Istanbul in this apartment located in Beyoğlu, a stone's throw from the Galata Tower. The apartment is very clean, recently renovated, quiet, and perfectly equipped. It has a separate bedroom with a very comfortable mattress, ideal for resting after a day of sightseeing. The host, Ram or Karim, is extremely available and attentive. They really know how to welcome: bottled water in quantity, toilet paper, everything is planned, nothing is missing. The location is exceptional: 2 minutes from Istiklal Avenue, the most commercial in Istanbul, with many good deals (much cheaper than in Paris!), while being away from the noise. Also close to the tunnel to reach the Galata Bridge, the tram to access the old town, and a few minutes from Şişli. This is undoubtedly one of the best locations to discover Istanbul. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated—exactly as shown in the listing. The location was perfect, close to key attractions, public transport, and some great local restaurants. What really stood out, though, was the Ksenia the host. She was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. From offering local tips to making sure I was comfortable, their hospitality made all the difference. I felt well taken care of throughout my entire stay. The apartment was well-stocked with everything from fresh towels to a fully equipped kitchen, which made it easy to feel at home. The Wi-Fi was fast, and the place was peaceful and quiet—ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would definitely stay again.

This is a nice spot in Nişantaşı. Definitely a very safe part of Istanbul that will feel very comfortable for visitors, especially with 24 hour security in the building. The apartment is quiet and peaceful and overlooks a nice courtyard. It's as pictured, and Kerem is a great host, always quick to respond. It's great for one person for short stays.

Great place to stay if you want an authentic feel in a local neighbourhood which is walkable to main sights. The apartment itself is beautiful, very clean, and has a warm, welcoming feel. Benny was an exceptional host -thoughtful, responsive, and incredibly helpful. Before we arrived, I asked about doing some laundry and he kindly picked up washing powder for us without even being asked. The fridge was stocked with water, which was a lovely touch. The neighborhood, while a little run-down in parts, felt deeply local and gave us the rare opportunity to experience the real Istanbul, away from the busy tourist spots. It was peaceful and quiet during the day, yet just a short walk or quick taxi ride from the bustling markets, main attractions, and business districts. Benny’s local guide was a great read, full of interesting recommendations. We were able to walk to most places, and when needed, local taxis were easy to use—just make sure the driver turns on the meter before you go.
