Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Bosnia

This place is beautiful. The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning. We saw the stars and heard owls at night. Has everything you need to make breakfast and do some basic cooking if you can be bothered, but there's lots of places to eat in the likes of Bol, with quite a few still open in the shoulder season. It is next to another kind of boutique hotel/airbnb thing but you're still afforded relative privacy from the terrace. Marijan gave us solid instructions on how to get there, but we still drove past the turn off so better to get there in daylight if you can. You will need a car. All in all such an amazing stay, the island of Brač has so much to offer, and this is a particularly idyllic spot. Thank you!

The house is even better than we expected. You will be allowed to spend your vacation in rural-style, handling fire in the stove, cooking on coal, and strolling neighbourhood upside-down. In a nutshell: bedroom is cosy, view to the lake is stunning, living studio on the first floor with a kitchen, where stove is located, is spacious and decorated, terrace is also huge, we personally loved to sit on the seesaw and drink coffee watching the lake. There are two bathrooms, each with a shower, on the first and second floor (second one connected to bedroom) Also the hospitality was over any estimates. We were welcomed with a shot of homemade rakija, also host helped us arranging a boat ride and was always there to help. Totally recommend, I left a piece of my heart there.

We stayed in Ivana's house for one night with out two children. We enjoyed every moment there. Its location on top of the hill and the direct contact to the nature reminded us our childhood. We absolutely recommend this accomodation. Ivana is very kind and helpful and the communication with her was flawless.

Lovely apartment right by the waterside. Comfortable apartment with all you need and with a lovely terrace with sea views. Standout feature is the private swimming jetty - wonderful for a swim after a day out but also a great place to just sit and watch the boats. We didn’t have a car, the Old Town and restaurants are about a 15 minute walk around the coast though with lovely views along the way. There is a small shop about 5 mins walk away but bigger stores near the Old Town. Kristina welcomed us with homemade cake and liqueur and also brought us homemade biscuits a few days later. Kristina is very friendly and lives upstairs with her mother so always on hand if you need anything. This is a great place to stay.

Sweet lil’ piece of heaven! Well, this place…. this place is a hidden gem, a hidden gem that is incredibly well preserved, with friendly people and gorgeous surroundings. The host, the accommodation, the cleanliness… everything perfect (altho “perfect” doesn’t really gives it justice) . We left thinking only about when we should come back! Thank you Ivan! This secluded cabin is a true gem! We feel lucky to have been able to spend a week here and absolutely loved every minute. Kole helped us get situated and provided a box of fresh and tasty farm veggies. We like to cook and grilling in the well-stocked and beautifully made outdoor wood oven was a treat. Spending lazy days swimming off the dock and reading on the outdoor terraces was incredibly relaxing. The cove has a number of boats coming in during the day but is tranquil and quiet at night.

Es war einer der angenehmsten Aufenthalte und hat uns sehr geholfen, abzuschalten. Unser Gastgeber Goran war äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und hatte immer nützliche Tipps parat. Das Haus ist genau so, wie es beschrieben wird, und hat uns ein paar wunderbare Tage beschert. Es ist wirklich eine Unterkunft, die einem hilft, abzuschalten. Natürlich denken wir daran, zurückzukommen – es gibt noch viele Dinge, die wir in Belgrad sehen möchten. Eine großartige Erfahrung

Es war ein wahnsinnig schöner Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft von Marin. Er ist ein äußerst freundlicher Gastgeber, der Freude daran hat einem Tipps zur Insel zu geben. Einen köstlichen selbstgemachten Rotwein hat er uns auch zum Abendessen mitgebracht. Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft gelegen. Es sind nur ein paar Schritte bis zum türkisblauen Meer. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf die Bucht. Wir empfehlen es sehr hier zu buchen für einen Aufenthalt auf Korcula!

Pobyt u Dragici sme si spolu s priateľom a naším psom nesmierne užili. Domček bol krásny, čistý. Bazén a vírivku sme taktiež využívali naplno, v horúcich dňoch to bolo výborné osvieženie. Dragica bola skvelým hostiteľom, pri príchode na nás čakalo chutné jedlo, výborné palacinky a alkohol. Počas pobytu sa o nás starala, po grilovaní ráno očistila gril a zanechala nám domáce vajíčka a koláč. Vrelo odporúčame 🙂

The accommodation is beautiful and the views are just stunning, it’s off the grid, very private and quiet. It’s perfect for a getaway, a lot easier to have your own car in a location like this The host was easy to communicate with and the accommodation is great Thank you for having us

Ma famille et moi même avons passé un séjour de deux semaines magnifique, je ne remercierais jamais amra ainsi que sa famille à juste mesure. Du début à la fin de notre séjour, leur réactivité fût exceptionnelle. le logement est très bien aménagé, très propre, très calme. La vue était splendide, la piscine est alimenté en eau par un ruisseau naturel. Visoko est un village chaleureux, situé à 45 min de Sarajevo en voiture, le paysage et la nature nous ont ressourcés aussi bien physiquement que mentalement. un vrai avre de paix . la Bosnie et ses habitants nous auront marqués à jamais ❤️❤️❤️. Je recommande vivement aux personnes cherchant à se vider l' esprit et à se remplir la tête de souvenir de visiter la Bosnie, Sarajevo, Mostar, kravica et d autres villes encore, on y mange très bien, on s'y sent très bien et bien évidemment je recommande à tous les utilisateurs d air BNB le logement somptueux d'Amra et sa famille,merci beaucoup pour votre accueil si chaleureux,ne changez pas. 5🌟

SHE House was as advertised. We quickly called her home feeling acclimated & comfortable. Our GPS sent us some terrible way initially but the locals were very friendly offering us assistance. Our host was patient & accommodating showing us how many ways to reach the house ("all roads lead to SHE House"). We really enjoyed how centrally located the home was to all things on Brac Island. We realized our visit was a bit early for the weather & the season when our original ferry from Makarska was cancelled due to bad weather but no worries we just had to go to Split. The wind was so strong it actually blew open the latched front door one afternoon. The soft throws in the basket were nice & cozy-really appreciated. Some of our favorite meals were at Pumparela Restaurant & Taverna Riva in Bol; Konoba Kopacina & Restaurant Ziza in Donji Humac; Gastro Diva in Makarska. Driving in Croatia is NOT for the faint of heart but if you happen to be on the D8 stop for coffee at Strada.

Naš smještaj u Visokom ispunio je sva naša očekivanja. Mirna lokacija i prelijepa priroda blizu centra grada. Domaćin Belmin je vrlo susretljiv, drag i pristupačan. Tople preporuke svima koji se odluče uputiti u Visoko!

Perfect little place in the Nature! We loved everything about it ! Irma was great fast response for all of our qustions . We would definitely come back !

Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Der Gastgeber war äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und hat uns im Vorfeld gut informiert. Kommunikation und Check-in verliefen problemlos. Pro: Absolute Privatsphäre – perfekt zum Entspannen Küche, Backofen und Grill: Alles war vorhanden und funktionstüchtig Es wurde wirklich an alles gedacht: Spülmittel, Waschmittel, Gewürze etc. waren da In jedem Zimmer gab es eine Klimaanlage Fliegengitter an allen Fenstern – super gegen Mücken Contra: Um den Garten bzw. Pool zu erreichen, musste man ums Haus herum – der Weg war teilweise von Ästen und Gebüsch versperrt, was mit kleinen Kindern etwas mühsam war Der Garten war leider ungepflegt (nicht gemäht) Das Baumhaus war zugewachsen, innen ragte eine Schraube heraus – daher für Kinder nicht nutzbar Die Terrasse zum Wäschetrocknen war voller toter Insekten Das Kanu war leider in einem sehr schmutzigen Zustand und nicht nutzbar

Wir waren als Mädelstruppe dort und wir können es wirklich nur empfehlen ☺️ Ana hat uns ganz lieb empfangen, war flexibel mit unserer Ankunftszeit, hat uns alles in Ruhe gezeigt und erklärt und sogar eine kleine Willkommensüberraschung vorbereitet 🥹 wenn wir ein Anliegen hatten, hat sie innerhalb weniger Minuten geantwortet Das Haus ist perfekt, wenn ihr nach einem Ort sucht zum Entspannen sucht, mit tollem Bergpanorama, beheizbarem Pool und Sauna ☺️ mit drei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern perfekt für große Gruppen. Man hat seine Ruhe und kann wirklich tollen Urlaub machen 🏖️

Great city apartment 10-15 minute walk to Old Town. Really close the the river through town. Had everything I needed and the host was every responsive and friendly!

Amazing Stay !!! We loved every minute of being in Sarajevo. This charming and luxurious unit is walking distance of town center and Baščaršija. Mirza & Alma made sure we felt at home in every way, prior and during our stay. Unit is a perfect blend of classic charm and modern conveniences expected . We had a quiet, cozy, snow-covered weekend at Eva and Almedin’s cabin. We enjoyed the space to spread out and each have our own room, the ability to bring our dogs, and long walks across the hills, made all the better by fresh snowfall. Eva and Almedin provided helpful local recommendations and Almedin went above and beyond the night we arrived, meeting us at the turnoff from the highway so that we could follow him directly to the cabin. We even got to meet Almedin’s father when he brought us extra firewood and he was a delight. I’ll happily recommend this cozy retreat to friends.

Een mooi verblijf aan Donau met buiten heerlijke voorzieningen om op allerlei plekken in tuin te verblijven. Het het een eigen karakter en sfeer door de inrichting.we hebben er genoten

A-frame cabin that backs up to the Durmitor National Park. It’s located in a gorgeous canyon. The location is remote, I would not recommend driving to it the first time in the dark. Directions were excellent. The AC worked great; however it’s located on the first floor so it doesn’t cool the 2nd floor quite as good. I had a portable fan with me and that did the trick when I went to bed. The views I cannot say enough about them. There are other cabins so if you want to socialize you can or not. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Eine fantastische Unterkunft. Der Blick auf die Tara-Brücke und die Ruhe oberhalb sind wunderbar. Die Villa Unterkunft mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und die Terrasse ist traumhaft. Wir haben hier jeden Abend draußen genossen. Nebojsa ist einer der besten Gastgeber, die wir je hatten. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und die Kommunikation verlief einwandfrei. Absolut empfehlenswert ist das fantastische Abendessen, dass seine Mutter zubereitet. Nebojsa hat außerdem Zipline und Rafting (muss an machen) 👍für uns organisiert. Es ist alles fußläufig erreichbar. Unser Urlaub hätte nicht besser starten können. Danke für die tolle Zeit.

Magnifique, mais pas parfait ! Emplacement magique. Vue à couper le souffle. Lire avec les pieds dans la mer, que demander de mieux! Grand balcon. BBQ Weber fonctionnel (assez pratique en saison basse, car peu de restaurants ouverts). Chambre principale impeccable (refait à neuf) avec douche et toilette très propres. Vue imprenable depuis la chambre principale. Hôtes très réactifs avec d'excellents conseils (merci). Bref, tout est... presque parfait. En effet, petits bémols à prendre en considération. Odeur assez forte/désagréable dans la toilette de la cuisine (qui sert aussi de deuxième chambre...). Seul moyen de la contenir est d'ouvrir les fenêtres (moins pratique avec climatisation) et ne pas utiliser la toilette (peu pratique). Cuisine bien équipée, mais plusieurs éléments (par ex. verres à vin) manquaient de propreté. Attention, beaucoup de fourmis si vous oubliez de la nourriture sur le comptoir! Ça reste un chalet extraordinaire. Un peu cher, mais fantastique en couple.
