We had a wonderful stay here for a family get-together in May. The weather was wet and windy but we still had an amazing time! Danielle's place is ideal for a group, with a big comfy sofa and a big dining table with benches so you can all eat together. My family also urged me to highlight how much they appreciated the dishwasher lol. Something to be aware of is that the garden is not secure if you have dogs. Showers worked well and beds were comfy. Our Skye highlights were seeing a white tailed sea eagle at the Old Man of Storr, and visiting the white coral beach north of Dunvegan. Overall would highly recommend this place.

The home is a perfect location. Close to many popular things to do on the Isle of Skye including Old Man of Storr and the dinosaur footprints on the beach (less than 1/2 mile away). The home is peaceful and in a beautiful location, bathrooms and kitchen are great, living room cozy, beds comfortable. If you’re looking for a place to stay, this is it. We absolutely hope to return the next time we’re in Scotland.

I’d give more stars if it let me. A charming home, surrounded by grazing sheep and cows. Helen left us a handwritten welcome note, and there are plenty of handwritten instructions all around the house that were cute and helpful. Not only did Helen leave her phone number, she provided her mothers as well, in case she couldn’t be reached. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!

We had a great experience! The family was extremely nice and welcoming. Just as advertised there are two rooms, one with a full bed and the other with a twin bed, a kitchen area, a table, and a good amount of sitting space. They also had heaters and a TV inside as well. The location is only 5 or 6 minutes from Portree which has some good food options. A great side bonus is they have a very friendly collie that will play fetch with you as long as you can.

A modern bathroom is showcased with a glass shower enclosure, featuring white subway tiles and a wooden countertop. Natural light streams in through a skylight, illuminating the stone walls. A contemporary sink and toilet are positioned for convenience, complemented by soft towels.

This is the BEST Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in – we mean it! It wasn’t just a lodge, it was a full-on experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with so many thoughtful touches – a lovely handwritten card, fresh flowers, a tray of fruits, and a fridge that was actually stocked (a rare Airbnb gem!). The owner is an absolute sweetheart – super responsive, friendly, and clearly puts her heart into making guests feel at home. She even included a luxurious-feeling body lotion – a little detail that made a big impression (and one we’ve never seen at other Airbnbs). My family really, really loved our time here. In fact, we ended up cutting short our day 2 itinerary just so we could soak up every last second at the lodge. That’s how much we didn’t want to leave. It’s cozy, beautiful, and filled with love – truly one of a kind. We left with full hearts and unforgettable memories. If you’re lucky enough to book a stay here, trust us – you’re in for a treat.
