Cabin vacation rentals in Borden

The cabin was very clean and cozy. We loved looking out at the river from the back porch and we had an amazing time paddling down the river. We even put our boats in the water from the cabins beach, which was also a beautiful place to hang out near the water. We would love to come back again, very soon. Thank you!

The cabin and property were absolutely breathtaking! The cabin wood work was amazing. Colleen made it a point to welcome me to the property and took the time to chat, show me around, and offered to help with any additional needs I might have. Aside from being able to actually meet and visit with Colleen, the porches and porch swings were probably my favorite part. Can't wait to come back next year!

We had the most incredible weekend at Garrett & Ewa’s place! They communicated so well with us before hand when planning my sister’s wedding celebration! Everyone loved the space. It was all as pictured and even better than expected!

We just got back from our stay at Susan’s cabin this weekend and oh. My. GOODNESS! The location is absolutely breathtaking, beautiful and spacious cabin (two king beds being a major plus), family/kid friendly with games and baby gear like a high chair and a baby gate which came in handy for our 11 month old! We spent so much time outdoors and thoroughly enjoyed fishing in the pond out front! I cannot recommend this place enough. They are quick to respond to any messages and all of the instructions for everything are super clear. Susan and her husband were so kind and accommodating, they even gave us a ton of fresh eggs from their chickens which was incredible! Seriously, if you’re considering booking this stay, DO IT!

Exceptional place and exceptional hosts!!! Randy and Bonnie thought to have everything there that you would need to feel like you were at home. Extremely clean and plenty of space to spread out. Communication was very easy! Location was private but close to other attractions. We definitely look forward to returning in the summer to enjoy more fishing in the pond and to relax by the pool!! Thank you Randy and Bonnie for sharing your home with us :) Although it rained for the weekend we still enjoyed our stay. Playing cards and watching movies and overall just relaxing was just what we needed.

Our stay was so great, Carol's cabin was so amazing and peaceful just what we needed. John was very kind and quick to resond with any questions, letting us bring our little john boat for the grandkids to paddle around the pond, in which they loved. Check in and check out was easy with clear instructions and when we entered the cabin it was so clean with the perfect amount of decor that wasn't too much for our grandkids, (ages 6 and 2 aka sticky fingers). I just wish we would have had cash as to leave a tip for the cleaner because it couldn't have been any better. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the cooking supplies you would need and I was so grateful for the filtered water container in the refrigerator as we packed in our groceries and realizing I forgot our case of water, this was a life saver. The wood provided for the firepit was also so generous and the trail to the pond and walking in the woods was well maintained.

We stayed here for Derby weekend and couldn’t have been happier with it. Only thing we wished was different was a longer booking! Beautiful views of the Ohio River and very peaceful environment. Darlene was great with communication and instruction. Would recommend this stay to anyone looking to get away from all of the city commotion.

We loved staying here and it was the perfect location for our family Easter! I truly can’t say enough great things about this cabin and the owners! It was very clean and well appointed with anything you need and the owners were very accommodating and kind! They helped with a couple requests, including a pack and play and high chair. We were able to cook a large Easter dinner with the stocked kitchen appliances and cookware. The property is very serene with plenty of privacy and great options for hiking around. The location is also not too far to get to the grocery store and restaurants. Lastly, the pool table and hot tub were a hit! We highly recommend to stay here and know we will definitely be back for another stay!

Took a trip to Holiday World and wanted some place to stay that wasn’t a hotel! The hot tub definitely got used after long days at the park and beds were very comfy. We had a 40-45min drive from the park so I’m not sure we’ll do that again but would return for a Patoka lake getaway!

“If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine”…The Ripple Inn was an awesome cabin with a lot of the amenities of home. That comes in handy when traveling with a little one. Upon arrival check in was super easy, the place was clean, and the hot tub was ready for use. Cell service was spotty but wifi solved that problem. Gas and charcoal grills for outdoor cooking options. Great view pretty much surrounding the property. Host was responsive and very descriptive with directions, check in/out instructions, as well as with suggestions of things to do locally. “Reach out your hand, if your cup be empty” and fill it with some of the sweet nectar being made at one of the near by distilleries.

Beautiful cabin! Had a lot of fun playing horse shoes and hanging in the hot tub. The Green Egg grill is another added bonus. Strongly recommend!

What a peaceful retreat! Super easy to get in. Check out was easiest in a long while! The hot tub was amazing. Of note, I’m tall so the hot tub was nice when it was just me and just enough room when my husband joined, but I wouldn’t want to add anyone else. The main bed was very high up like the pictures but there was a step stool if needed and SUPER comfy!!!! Huge plus!! Ashley was very quick to respond and gave us great recommendations for food around town. Definitely would go back!

You have a beautiful place!😍 We were in great need of a getaway!! We didn’t explore Madison too much, but appreciated the brochures that were there for recommendations. We just needed a quiet & peaceful place to be together to rest, relax, & rejuvenate. Thanks for all the extras you did to make our stay a great one!!❤️

We wanted a cabin in southern Indiana with nice surroundings, hot tub, and access to a park…we got sooo much more. Stairway to Heaven was super easy to find, secluded yet close enough to anything we needed. The other cabins are secluded and you feel as if you’re in the neighborhood of your dreams! Speaking of which, normally when you stay somewhere the “beds” are always a risk…risk well taken! We slept so well, we even asked Wes where he got the beds because we want them at our home! Overall, this was a wonderful quaint cabin in the woods, with everything you need for a quick get away or a long stay. Fire pit, clean hot tub, grill, comfy beds, WiFi, full kitchen with amenities, so clean and cozy! Can’t wait to return!!! If you’re looking for a great deal, you have to stay here! Thanks Wes!

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this cabin for 2 nights, it was very peaceful and the host gave very clear instructions on exactly how to get there. Host was very accommodating and helpful. We loved this cabin it was a nice getaway from a busy city and we would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved staying here! The cabin was so cozy and welcoming. It had everything we needed and more. The outdoor space is perfect! Waking up and enjoying our coffee under the new pergola was pure bliss! The birds singing created the most enchanting and relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect way to start each day and truly unwind. Highly recommend taking advantage of this beautiful outdoor space! We couldn't have asked for a better place to call home during our trip. We would highly recommend this spot to anyone!

Wow! An amazing cabin in a beautiful setting. Rustic luxury. We can't wait to book a return visit. The cabin was beautifully decorated with a high attention to detail. The hosts were accommodating, and communicated clearly.

Tina and Wendell (I think was his name ) . Amazing amazing people . Really enjoyed having them around to talk . Horse shoe pits are amazing . The fire pit amazing . Even the cats were friendly and loving . So peaceful . Tina gave us jar of sauce for our dinner . Would love to come back for visit . Thanks for having us .

We stayed here for a bachelor party and had a great time! The house slept 10 of us comfortably. Enjoyed using the fire pit, grilling in at the house, and playing shuffle board in the basement. This Airbnb is close to Heritage Hills golf course, which is a nice public golf course in Louisville area. Also very close to Jim Bean, which has a great distillery tour on a beautiful property.

Loved the cabin! All the needed amenities and more. Owner was near if needed but did not impede on our privacy. Hopefully we will visit again!!

This cabin was clean and perfect, just as described in the listing! Had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing weekend. Beds were comfortable. Nancy was responsive and very friendly. We will be back!
