Cat's House

We had a lovely stay at Catherine home. The house is comfortable and homely and only a short walk to the town. Catherine is a great host, she was very accommodating and was great at suggesting local restaurants and walks. Thanks very much Catherine.

'Peggy's' Lodge, Bonniconlon, Ballina, Co Mayo

RayRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This is the second time I’ve stayed here, and will most definitely stay again soon. Marian is so very welcoming, makes provisions for pretty much everything people/family/group would require. Amazingly comfy beds, secure, safe, warm etc. Was able to make meals easily with cooker, microwave etc. Front room has gig comfy sofas, there’s enough space and rooms for individual to go read, go for a nap, do their own thing so people aren’t all crammed into in to one living space. I have had and will continue to have my family stay here as first choice if available when I come to Mayo. Thank you Marian for a wonderful stay. Ray

The Granary, Foxford

PatriciaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our family absolutely loved staying in Finbarr’s place. The building was unique and full of history-which our history loving family appreciated. It sparked conversations about what we thought it was like when it was a granary, or the cattle shed, or the fisherman’s cottage. We felt in awe of the history we were sharing for such a brief time. We will definitely be back if ever we get ‘round to Foxford again!

A serene waterfront scene is depicted, featuring a calm sea at sunset. A cobblestone area is visible, with brightly colored doors in red, yellow, and blue on a small building. The pier extends into the water, and soft hues fill the sky.
