Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Boksburg

The property was simply amazing. The rooms were big each with lovely ensuite bathrooms. It has a well appointed kitchen and a large dining room table that would sit 10 people very comfortably. An added bonus is the dining room table converts to a pool table. The area is extremely quiet away from the hussle and bustle of Johannesburg and superbly situated to get to the various golf courses we were playing as well as some great restaurants. It has all the facilities for entertaining outside including a swimming pool which would be amazing in the summer months, as well as a large garden. The house is kept spotless by housekeeping who came in every day (except Sunday) to clean and make up the rooms. Finally, I cannot say enough about our host Charmaine. Very friendly and responsive throughout the whole process. Thank you Charmaine, you were brilliant and we all thank you for letting us feel so at home!

I had a lovely stay at Lauren's home. As other reviewers have noted, it is such a peaceful, warm place in the middle of the city, with easy uber/car access to everything that you need (I rarely waited more than 2-3 minutes for an uber). The garden area is so peaceful, the home is very well equipped, and Lauren is very responsive and helpful.

Xolile’s place was so peaceful. Felt right at home from the moment we stepped in. Xolile is an A++ of a host. Caring and so responsive. I’ll definitely be coming back soon.

We spent several weeks at Lisa’s place and loved every moment. Lisa was super communicative and always on hand if we had a question. We liked being situated in Melville which is easily walkable and has lots of unique places to visit, especially the cafes on 7th street, 27 Boxes and morning walks up on the Koppies which are a must if staying in the area. Thanks again Lisa for being a great host, we hope to stay again!

We felt right at home during our stay - the space was warm, beautifully set up, and had everything we needed, including more than enough blankets to keep us cozy. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made everything so seamless from start to finish. Thank you for such a lovely experience - we’d definitely love to return!

It was a pleasure staying at Charmaine’s. The house is spacious, very well equipped and comfortable - a real home away from home. The garden was also a welcome distraction for the kids. I would stay there again with pleasure. Thank you for everything Charmaine and Stefan we were so grateful for the house during a difficult few days. We felt safe and comfortable.

A lovely, large and well equipped house with garden and pool within walking distance of Parkhurst restaurants and shops. A great place to stay if visiting Joburg - felt very comfortable. Hannah was very professional and friendly and we felt very at home.

rien à dire à part qu'on s'attendait pas à devoir monter les escaliers jusqu'au 3 ieme niveau. pas évident quand vous avez deja bu 2 verres lol. communication rapide. Nkulie etait à l'ecoute, dommage qu'on a dû quitter plûtot pour des raisons personnelles. on reviendra!

What can I say?! An incredible spot to spend a few peaceful days in the city. it felt like a home away from home the second we walked through the door. Our hosts were fantastic and made us and our pups feel welcome the entire time we were there. The pool was a delight, and the view over Sandton was glorious. I can't recommend Alex & Gideon, or their cottage, highly enough.

Chiara and Jono's space was absolutely beautiful and so welcoming! They made us and our dogs feel so at home. Their two gorgeous dogs were very well behaved and friendly. We would absolutely visit again and definitely recommend the space to our family and friends 🧡

We enjoyed the time and stay as we were a large group. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The area was quiet and we felt safe. Some of the bathrooms could do with some tlc. Nathalie and her team and great hosts

Beautiful surroundings, comfortable beds, gorgeous garden, secluded.

La maison de Martin est très conviviale avec deux grandes chambres et un joli séjour. A noter que la 3e chambre se trouve dans une dépendance dans le jardin. L'espace extérieur est très mignon, avec une petite piscine que nous n'avons pas testée. La maison dispose aussi d'un garage pour deux voitures. L'ensemble est très sécurisé : une alarme extérieure et une alarme intérieure connectées à un service de sécurité, des grilles pour fermer les vitres : c'est la norme à Johannesburg, surtout dans un quartier aisé comme Melville. Du coup, il faut s'habituer aux différents boutons. Vues les conditions météorologiques (pluie et froid), la maison était assez fraîche, mais les radiateurs à disposition fonctionnent très bien. Les alentours de la maison sont résidentiels mais il vaut mieux se déplacer en voiture. Les instructions pour arriver étaient très claires et précises. En définitive, le logement est parfait pour visiter J'burg, on s'y sent très bien, comme à la maison.

The most comfortable bed we slept in during our South African stay! Quality appliances, comfortable furnishings. A great patio for outdoor eating and braaing, and a lovely garden for the kids to play in. The host was amazingly responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend and we will certainly stay here again on future trips.

This was the first air b and b that I have stayed at and going forward the next hosts have big shoes to fill. The house was beautiful, photos dont do justice. Pfarela was excellent and very responsive. We didnt want to leave. Thank you for hosting us
