Village house with pool and panoramic views

StuartRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

The Jardin des Etudes - Terrace & Mansion 300 years

Franck’s apartment in was absolutely perfect for our week long stay in Avignon. Just right for a couple. It was very spacious, quiet and so comfortable with all the amenities. It was exactly as pictured and extremely clean. Communication from check in to check out was professional and friendly and responsive. The location of the apartment is great and just a few minutes from restaurants and cafes in all directions! I highly recommend and if our travels bring us back to Avignon, I would definitely stay here again!
The living area showcases a comfortable sofa and an air conditioning unit mounted on the wall. A television is positioned on a cabinet with a mix of colorful drawers. A dining table with four chairs is illuminated by natural light pouring in through the adjoining door leading to the terrace.

Southern Ardèche, vacation rental, river.

We stayed here for two weeks and it was two great weeks. The house is a bit high, with beautiful views. You are looking at a high mountain where a lot of hiking is done. It is beautiful green everywhere, and flowers are in full bloom. In the evening, you only hear different bird sounds. During the day, you can see them and also beautiful colorful butterflies. The house is really very cozy, everything but everything is new, very clean and tidy. Enjoy the gazebo, especially in the evenings. The owners Jean- Claud and Annique are great hosts. Very customer-friendly, welcoming and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. Annique came to bring us a bottle of wine. How nice is that? They live next to the vacation apartment, but privacy is highly valued by them. So we don't have a “burden” on each other. They are happy to help you with excursions, we got a lot of tips…Ardeche is really worth the money and all the effort. We will definitely come back here😍

Alison and Costas are a dream team. Excellent hosts with a beautiful chateau for you to enjoy. Aline is great too. You’ll have a wonderful and relaxing stay. Great food and activity recommendations in the booklet. Be sure to visit all the markets you can, and try and eat at Le Flores- which was the perfect lazy lunch venue.

Cevennes, natural swimming pool, charm, exception

Absolutely stunning location and accommodation, like stepping into paradise. Last bit of the road unpaved, probably not suitable for a low slung sports car But we managed easily with our over packed family car. Gaelle is a superb host, extremely attentive.

2-person gîtes, private pool

PriskaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This place isn’t just beautiful, it’s incredibly serene. The cottage is surrounded by nature, and what stood out to me most was the view from the cottage itself, especially in the morning. My favorite spot to read and relax was the hammock by the garden, just beside the pool. The nearest town, Barjac, is a charming historic city with excellent restaurants. Nel and Thierry were warm and welcoming hosts, and our dog loved playing with their golden retriever. My husband and I had a truly wonderful time here.
