The house has 2.5 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms with double beds, basement part with own entrance. TV room with extra sleeping possibilities. Laundry room. Here you can walk straight into Bymarka, enjoy a glass on two large verandas or take the bus from town after a delicious dinner. Great opportunities to experience northern lights and magical sunsets from the living room windows. Parking and charger for electric car.

We welcome open-air guests to our great cabin in Holmsundfjorden in Gildeskål, 1 hour drive south from Bodø. The cabin is idyllic and undisturbed all the way down by the sea. The cabin has a boathouse with a 14 foot boat with 10 HP outboard motor. The cabin also has a great, private sauna barrel right by the water, and an outdoor jacuzzi (this is new from July 2025). Formidable hiking and fishing opportunities await you in Gildeskål, and we are happy to suggest top trips and smaller family trips for you.

Large modern house by the sea

The house is located 6 km outside Bodø city center and 3 km from the university in a quiet area. The view is amazing and the fish bite from the rocks by the sea. It is a short way by car to Saltstraumen (one of the world's strongest tide streams). In the summer the midnight sun makes the night light and in the winter the northern lights dances in the skies. We have a nice cat but she can be kept outside if that is prefered.

Jacuzzi available at price surcharge (1500 NOK per stay).

Restored and charming seahouse from 1965. Brightly decorated house of 35 m2, with 2 small bedrooms on the loft. Living room has a dining area and a reading area. Modern kitchen with dishwasher, fridge / freezer, and bathroom with toilet and shower. Outside area with garden furniture and campfire pan. Yacuzzi can be rented for an extra fee on 600,- for a weekend or 800,- by the week.
