From the 1960s it was renovated by then owner and architect, C.Eugene Asbury. Since the renovation, our home has remained his vision and allows you to take a step back in time for what life was like in the 50s and 60s with furniture and lighting from that timeless era. The house is immaculate and the backyard is fantastic. I had family in town for a memorial service. Since I didn't have enough room in my own house for everyone, I rented Steve and Angie's. It was the perfect setup for us, and being able to unwind in the wonderful backyard after the service made a difficult day a whole lot easier. Steve and Angie were very easy to work with. I highly recommend!

We had nice stay at the house - the inside was nice enough, albeit a little dated in some areas. The outside seating area had a lot of debris so we couldn't spend much time on the patio, but ultimately it's a nice area with close access to the river and Peoria. I'd stay there again.

We really enjoyed our time and the space at Kerina’s house. We had everything we needed and there was plenty of things to do. Anything we needed for cooking was there. The supplied water and coffee was thoughtful. Master bedroom and downstairs bedroom had the most comfortable beds. All linens were supplied and there was plenty of towels for the hot tub.

A spacious entertainment area features a red pool table surrounded by light wood flooring. A bar with seating and a TV can be seen in the background, alongside arcade games, providing a welcoming atmosphere for social gatherings.

Amanda is a great host. Communication was clear and helpful. Her place was very clean and well suited for the four of us that stayed over the weekend for my son's graduation at ISU. The neighborhood is very quiet and it's super easy to get to the campus or to grab a bite to eat. There's a little grocery store around the corner that i describe as a mini wholefoods market. We all enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend Amanda's place as an alternative to staying in a noisy crowded hotel.
