Very nice renovation, very comfortable. Perfectly matches the listing. The living room is spacious, the kitchen is very well equipped and the bathrooms are very comfortable. You feel very good in this quiet house. Bonus: the bottle of wine (excellent) offered by Yves who is particularly friendly! We particularly recommend a tasting in his cellar (right next to the house).

We spent about a week on vacation in Alsace. Barr is a great starting point for many excursions between Strasbourg and Colmar. There is plenty to discover in the beautiful small town itself and bakers, restaurants and co. are just around the corner. Parking on the opposite side of the street worked great for us, as we were on the road during the day when the parking disc was needed. The apartment is tasteful and designed with a lot of love for detail. The amenities are very good. We were there with our 1-year-old twins and had plenty of room for everything. The building is a beautiful half-timbered house in the old town with narrow and steep stairs. For us, however, it was easily doable with the children in the sling. Overall, a place to feel good. :) We will be happy to come back when the next vacation in the region is due.

Fantastic apartment. Fully equipped. Never experienced such a spacious Airbnb. From extensive kitchen to bathroom, etc. Also the consumables such as toilet paper, dishwasher tablets etc. were well stocked which makes it a very easy stay. Furthermore, a very modern, spacious and clean apartment is an authentic local village. Definitely recommended

"Le Médian" Alsace gîte with Christine and Philippe

We felt extremely comfortable with Christine and Philippe. They were excellent hosts. We felt right at home. Small attentions sweetened the reception. Christine and Phillippe gave us valuable tips. We were able to park our bikes well. The house is an excellent starting point for both cycling and car tours throughout Alsace. Unfortunately, we had to end our stay early for personal reasons. Here, too, our hosts were courteous and compassionate. We hope to be able to come back to Christine and Phillippe.
