Charlie’s Place is idyllically located on the West Branch of the Susquehanna River inside the Bucktail State Park Natural Area of the Sproul State Forest. Charlie’s Place is directly off of state road Route 120, which is a main thoroughfare. Lock Haven is a 15 minute drive and State College is 45 minutes. Visit to relax and enjoy nature. Our cottage is located in a safe & quiet neighborhood. It is very cozy, relaxing and private. Our cottage lies on the outskirts of the quaint little town of Woodward, nestled along the woods, in the midst of Amish country. We are located halfway between State College (Penn State) and Lewisburg (Bucknell), approximately 40 minutes commute either way. This area is great for hiking, biking, hunting, and excellent fly fishing.
