Relax in the peace and quiet of South West Scotland. Couthie Brae is in Scotland’s Book Town, close to local amenities but set in its own large, quite wild garden with space to relax and play. Sleeping up to six in 3 bedrooms, Couthie Brae is great for families, but also comfortable and cosy for a single traveller or a couple holidaying on their own. The Haven, Bladnoch is a listed property. Refurbished in 2020, it has a modern interior but maintains a cottage feel. Sleeps 4 guests. Cosy up in front of the wood burner or sink into the deep bath after a day exploring the beautiful area. There is a cottage garden with balcony, patio, seating area and wood fired hot tub with retractable roof- so it can be enjoyed whatever the weather! Pub and whiskey distillery at the end of the street and less than 1 mile to Wigtown, The Scottish Booktown.

The Potager Tree House

Situated within the vegetable garden five feet up. Unfortunately, not suitable for disabled access. There is a tree coming up through the balcony which gets full sun in the morning for breakfast alfresco. Living area is small and quirky but with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Outside there is a BBQ, a wood fired whiskey barrel hot tub and enough coals and logs provided for one night. The garden is secure and dog friendly. Private entry and parking.

A two bedroom, two hundred year old cottage, Tide View is situated centrally in Scotland's book town, Wigtown. With stunning views over the bay and Galloway hills, you can relax with the whole family or friends. This beautiful area of Galloway has wonderful beaches, scenic hills and forests. A well behaved dog is welcome, the house is fully fenced (1.3m high at lowest point) and there are dog walking areas at the doorstep and a children's play park 50m away.
