Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Biscay

Inaki was very helpful right from the beginning of our stay and could not have been easier to deal with. He looked up local taxi forms and bus routes to where we needed to go, gave food recommendations for around the local area. Replied very quickly and had an amazing home, it was even better than the photos. Inaki even left us a few basics like eggs and bread etc and some really nice lemon cake too! I couldn’t recommend him and his place enough Thankyou so much for all the help

The house location is spectacular. Has an amazing view of the bay. The house itself is super clean and comfortable. Perfect location to relax and enjoy the rural Basque country, or to visit San Sebastian and Bilbao. We had a wonderful time.

From booking to arriving Nerea was very helpful and we had to make a few alterations of which she was great to deal with, responded to my queries and put us at ease. On arrival we were met by her Father who is a very nice man and he showed us around, what everything does and where everything was, we also asked some advice about our journey and he was very helpful, obviously a bit of a language barrier but he was patient, understanding and helpful. The house itself is set in such a beautiful location, the scenery is breath-taking and we felt at home straight away, everything you need is a drive away but easy. I would highly recommend, a superb Host and a superb property Would most defiantly look at re visiting again and would have no hesitation in booking here again.

We enjoyed our stay with Iciar very much, because of the peace, nature and animals and the nice house. Iciar is a very warm woman, made us feel very welcome and was always available for tips and facts. The house/area fully matches the pictures/description. Plus, there is a variety of things to visit/see on max 1h drive. Highly recommended!

We thought the villa was perfect for our little girl's weekend! Local taxi firms were very accomodating over text message as we could not speak spanish so we were able to Google translate and message them. (uber doesn't work in this area) The local GoT attractions do require booking to visit - which we did not realise but that was due to our own lack of foresight. The host was amazingly responsive, the water system was running cold and she was there within 20 mins to reset the boiler to get us hot water and to help us understand the cooking system. The villa itself was beautiful and the surrounding area was so beautiful to just sit and enjoy. Plenty of space in the villa and multiple bathroom and showers for larger groups of people. I would mention that having a car is essential to stay here for the local shopping and the check out process of disposing of the bins down the road.

Lourdes was very welcoming and friendly, spacious accommodation for our group of 18 people. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which is very convenient when there are many people. The house is in a very good location. Only downside but for which Lourdes is not responsible, the barking of the neighborhood dogs until late at night. We had a great time! Thanks!

We enjoyed the stay. The house has everything you need and with beautiful views of the estuary. The area is very quiet and well connected for excursions. Manuela is attentive upon arrival and available throughout the stay. I would choose this place again!!!

Aingeru's place was fantastic for our little family. It was incredibly clean and accessible. The kitchen was equipped well with everything that we needed as we had a baby. It was a lovely touch adding coffee and milk. This was appreciated as we arrived late and couldn't go grocery shopping. He was so attentive and responsive and provided excellent recommendations that we tried. The beach was very close. 5 stars! Awesome place and an awesome host. Thank you Aingeru.

If you are looking for tranquility it is the perfect place. The house was beautiful, as was its surroundings, and the host was very friendly at all times. I would definitely go back.

Lovely place, quiet and peaceful. A little lost, but if that's what you're looking for then you've come to the right place. Very welcoming host, with special touches on the table when we arrived, it's nice! Beautiful places to visit 30 minutes away in all directions.

Everything was great! The apartment is ideal for two people, nice and with everything you need! I would like to emphasize the good disposition of the hosts, on a couple of occasions I contacted them and they responded instantly. They were attentive at all times!

Newly renovated 1st floor apartment with everything you need. High quality appliances & Grohe thermostatic shower valves. Bus stop 90 meters & metro about 200 meters away, right in the centre of Bilbao. Whole apartment has ducted air-conditioning with your own thermostat. Comfortable king size bed in each bedroom with a washer/dryer. Virginia was very helpful to us as an older couple & helped us to get our car into the car park – normal size parking spaces & assisted with our luggage up to the apartment. There is a lift in the carpark & the apartment. Two supermarkets are across the road from the apartment. We had a wonderful stay & would definitely recommend this secure apartment.

We were extremely pleased with our stay at Iñigo's accommodation. The space was impeccably clean, very well equipped and exactly as described in the listing – or even better! The house is in a beautiful setting, a few minutes walk from the town of Otxandio, very well connected by road in any direction. The house is very well furnished, and it is very comfortable for a large group. The rooms were spacious and the garden was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay with Manu and Sissi who are adorable, responsive and flexible hosts. Very clean and beautifully decorated, the house is bright, spacious and comfortable to live in. Beautiful common and private spaces in a green setting, well equipped kitchen and large enough to prepare meals together without bothering each other. Very comfortable bedding and sofas in the living room with a lovely view of the garden. In the basement, sports & leisure equipment (ping pong, foosball, darts) for fun with the family. Large operational barbecue on the terrace for the tasty sardine grills of Mercado de la Ribera de Bilbao. Interesting area for city walks, cultural visits (Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and Peace Museum in Guernica not to be missed), swimming and hiking with spectacular viewpoints. Nearby supplies (Carrefour, Lidl 15mins drive) and delicious local pintxos! In short, a score without a downside. We recommend!!!

Absolutely gorgeous place! We stayed in the house in Barrika for 5 days and it was such a great experience. Totally amazing house, wonderful host, and a super nice large pool. We were already thinking about booking it again next year - after the first day. We were 2 adults, 1 teenager and a 6-year old - and we had lots of extra space in the house. The garage is also really convenient with its entrance to the house both via the garden and directly via stairs. It was surprisingly fast to get to and from Bilbao city, too - and the airport was a very short drive. We already miss the views from the balconies, the pool and the beautiful house. Can't recommend this place enough.

If you like peaceful surroundings with a villa in the hills surrounded by trees, this is the place for you. Especially if you love sports and/or want to just chill. Much bigger than the pics make it look. Not the most modern villa but certainly homely. 4 double beds & two singles upstairs, then a dorm type room with 4x bunk beds downstairs. You wouldn’t really want 8 in that room, but useful for larger needs. Location is in the middle of nowhere and you definitely need a car - Berango is c2km away and has major supermarkets including Lidl and Decathlon and Burger King, with the metro from there about half hour into Bilbao central. There were 11 of us staying and all thoroughly enjoyed it.
