Glädjens Hus

Live the simple life in this peaceful and centrally located accommodation. Welcome to us at Glädjens Hus as the Lindahl family has had in the family since 1893 when the widow Johanna Lindahl had built this amazing house with which it was then 3 apartments and with a good location close to the harbor and the inner city. Now there are 5 apartments completely renovated with all amenities. The house's balcony located on the north gable with morning sun and evening sun is shared by the house's guests. The barbecue is for the guests.

Down by the beach (200 m) is Fridhem's café with homemade treats. 2 km to Kneippbyn with adventure and water park, restaurants, supermarket, concerts, Pippi Longstocking theatre, mini-golf, courts for padel, tennis, football and baskeball. Ygne and Högklint are some of the best places for sea trout fishing. Visby GK is 21 km away and Tofta Beach 16 km.. NOTE: There is an additional cleaning fee of 185€ that is paid 1 week before check-in.

Studio house by the sea

The house, called "The Ateljéhuset", is 300 meters from the sea with a ten kilometer long sandy beach in one direction and one of Gotland´s best fishing spots for trout along the cliffs in the other directon. From the bedroom, the dining area and the terrace you can look stright across the Baltic Sea and always hear the waves. The house adjoins to Danbo Nature Reserve. It is a paradise for hikers where you can enjoy untouched nature, yet there are really good restaurants nearby.

Recently renovated villa in central Visby

From our modern and newly renovated villa, it is only one kilometer to the center of Visby, where you can walk around the 3.5 km long ring wall or wander through its narrow alleys, admire the medieval church ruins and the stairwell houses or sit down at one of the many outdoor venues to enjoy a locally produced meal. But it is also just as easy to reach kilometer-long sandy beaches, climbing-friendly limestone stacks and all the nature and culture that Gotland offers.

This house, situated within the town wall of medieval Visby on the slopes towards the Baltic sea with wonderful sea-view from the veranda upstairs, was built in 1760 but thoroughly renovated. It has a cosy garden with lots of roses, apple trees and an outdoor grill and eating facilities. The street Skeppargatan is close to the southern town wall and is calm with very little traffic.
