Great, private home base for hiking, summer music/dance/theatre, trips to Kripalu or MassMOCA, skiing... or for going nowhere at all. Dogs OK! (note: fee)

Just Be Cabin

Small, rustic cabin in the woods behind our home. The cabin has electricity, but no running water. Drinking and cooking water are provided from a hand pumped container. The cabin is a beautiful place to slow down, connect to nature and one's self. If you love to camp, you will love the cabin. It is the perfect locale for a personal retreat. We are happy to arrange a yoga class at our home studio as well. It is like a tree house, where all are welcome to come, simplify life and just be.

Also located within minutes of the many cultural attractions the Berkshires have to offer, Jacob's Pillow, Shakespeare & Company, and Tanglewood. Enjoy the beautiful fall foliage on our small private pond. You can bring your kayak or canoe to enjoy the wildlife that abounds or catch & release in our pond.

Outside the home you can find a cozy fire-pit, trails that lead down to the river, and a dining table for all your meals. Go out for a day of hiking and exploring, and come back to unwind to sounds of nature.

Otis is the best town for a visit to the Berkshires. It is close to all the places you would want to visit like Jacob's Pillow, Tanglewood, Norman Rockwell Museum to start with. It is also close to hiking trails, swimming, shopping and great restaurants. This wonderful three plus bedroom home is located on the backside of Otis Ridge Ski Area. Wake up and take a walk on the ridge or just sit outside and have your morning beverage with the woods surrounding you.
